  • I just recently purchased a tattoo kit with a rotary machine. what do you prefer about the coil machine? what might be better about the rotary? is bending the needle also a good idea for these machines? I use the disposable needle and tip/grip combos as well

  • @XcapeArtist357 im really new but a coil has give and when you hit resistance it slows the machine more. i now use rotary because setting up a coil machine is more difficult my rotary has only the voltage as adjustment but be careful you can hit really hard with the rotary. if you dont know the basics like bands dont use it on a human yet.

  • @XcapeArtist357 without the band it moves around giving poor lines and poor ink flow. if you dont bend the needle but put bands on the needle will dip in the middle and the tip will be runing against the top of the tube not the bottom where the ink is. dont over bend the needle or the middle will hit the tube inside causing it to slow the machine down. this is really rookie info so you shouldn't own a kit as your way to lazy to have learnt even the basics. dont learn from yt

  • you cant learn too tattoo from youtube; nor should you be trying too teach. your'e all a bunch of fucking idiots.

  • @DRKNESS333 your a fucking idiot people can do what the fuck they want. tattooing wasnt always a professional art you fuckin dumbshit it comes from underground art people just trying shit your a dumb ass ...people can start wherever they fuckin feel comfortable your not right any more than me so it doesnt even matter

  • i was wondering, how much of the needle should be out of the tube for lines and shading? and whats the best thing to practice on? great video by the way....

  • Nice,

I have found all along that my machines work best at different voltages (even the ambient temperature can change the value, hot day Vs cold day for example).

Myhself and All my Pro tattooist mates do exactly the same thing. All the Net Jockeys say "about 8 volts" but the value depends on a number of factors including Spring Type, Ambient Temperature, the material the Machine is made from, The quality of electricity supplied to the premiss, Needle and tube type being used, etc etc...

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAN !!!!!!! THANKS nOHOMO

  • Hey guy below........ Grommets! or paper towel

  • dont u need tp put a lil cap were u hook the needle into so it wont cum off or just the rubber bands will hold it?

  • @edgarsanchez1904 stupid question

  • what do you think of micro dial liner micky sharpz machines? and what voltage do you think they run best at?

  • @RID3TH3SP1RAL WHAT U THINK OF THE ORIGINAL KNICKLE DUSTER BY EMILLION IRONS?

  • @Juggalomafia

Shut up alot of great artist start like that so mind your own.. if they fuck someones tattoo up oh well.. lifes a bitch.

  • cade as tattoos o cara eh branco!!!!

  • @863juggalomafia well im a great artist i just wanted to get into tattoooing, i have worked with a couple homemade tatt machines,, just wanted some feed back

  • can anybody tell me what gun is better quality for linin n shading?

  • @edgarsanchez1904 just make sure they are 10 wrap coils and that the machine is cast....make sure the machine is one solid piece and the tube clamp it not a POS....there's a lot of good machines, honestly, you just gotta make sure you're not getting cheap shit from china

  • what needle do i use for shadin?

  • @edgarsanchez1904 u do not need to be tattooing if u dont even know how to work the item ure usig

  • @spyfl if u got round needles then the are usualy liners.. Actually they are better too line with.. Now the tricky part for the shader.. If there all round try and find the loosest needles they should be your shaders

  • Please respond, I've just bought a kit with two guns, one liner one shader. No expensive stuff though, just about 150 dollars. To try out. But I have a really nooby question; how do I tell the difference of the needles I've got? Which ones are liners and which ones are shaders? From what I've read both liners AND shaders can have several needletips? I thought that was only the shaders, I thought the liners were only one needletip? I mean I got a whole package of needles! Someone please help!

  • @Spyflugan91 Flat needles are shaders....the ones that are round and all come to a closer point at the tip, those are liners. Tere are a few circular shaders too but they stay the same width apart all the way down the needle tip, unlike the liners that come to a point... use single tipped needles first, and that way you can practice laying a straight and clean line...and then you can go over later with a 4RL or something and clean your lines up. as for shaders, I'd stick with 8mags at first

  • can the liner machine be used as a shader? im talking about the BA! MACHINE!

  • @JAYSONMARTES24 it is possible however the springs are different from liner to shader...So yes it will work but not as efficiently as buying a machine specifically for shading or lining!

  • @tattoosuperior1 Or a Hybrid

  • @tattoosuperior1

hey i have myself a starter kit and i was practiceing last nite my needle was a bit wobbly it even pulled out of the tip was this because i moved the wrong way at some point.... it only happened the once when i went down i had all my band and gromments in??..... plz anser

  • i just got my bad ass machine any tips on it?

  • Great service all my equipment is from you guys

  • so what was the voltage?????????????

  • @DonlineIam Like he said, it varies from machine to machine, listen to the sound

  • @DonlineIam the voltage only dictates how hard the machine hits...it has nothing to do with speed....You're gap between the screw and the AB should be about a dime for lining and a nickle for shading...And the voltage could be anywhere from 6 to 7 for lining and 7 to 9 for shading depending on the coils you have...Lining should make a clean higher pitched buzzing noise, and the shdaer should e a little softer humming type noise. And make sure it doesn't bog down too much when pressure is applied

  • man im gonna order all my stuff from u guys this is great tech support i asked a question and didnt get awnserd thats nice

  • so are ur starter kits at supirior better then element tattoo supplys starter kits? cuz im thinking about switching to you guys just not to sure yet

  • @woodpusher329 I have been trying to respond but youtube is giving me issues! Yes come check Superior out!!! We have everything your looking for.

  • @tattoosuperior1 ima trust in you guys and switch from element

  • hold up if u never bend the needle there would be no reason for rubber bands right?

  • @woodpusher329 no! you must do those steps to control the needle from bouncing around in the tube tip......Rubber bands and bending the needle are a must...(for coil machine).

  • Aahahahah zombie said your ruber bands are tangled and u cant have that , why the fuck do so many people troll u tube just to nit pic shit , all they do is talk shit and hate on other artists, go tattoo and get off u tube if your gonna talk shit, stop the hate, real artists dont nit pic and talk shit to others
