All of you guys are right and wrong. The Exige is a little more performance than the Elise. More power more downforce and more aggressive looking. The Exige is not lighter than the Elise but it's not much heavier.
@WhiteIceMan3 from what I know the exige is lighter, stiffer suspension and more power. at the same time, though, there are different trim levels for each car. the elise has it's sport version (the SC) and the exige has it's sport version (the Cup260)
If there intention is to keep it a secret then Epric Fail. They could not have provided move appealing mountain drive shots even if they had staged this. Great video
3.43 the guys in the Elise almost ding the Exige as it prepares to turn left. they almost try to cut the Exige off, from going left.

This is not the new Exige, this is the Willy Wonka edition Evora to go along side the Freddie Mercury and Byonce edition Evora's lol.
