Not particularly a fan of either band, so you know i'm not going to pick favorites. What people who say they sound the same (Paramore & VersaeEmerge) are probably only hearing the singers voice. In that the singers of sort of... the same pitch. Now if you go and listen to everything, the beat, bass, guitar, you see they are really not that similar. So let them just do what they're paid too do. *Not a hate message or me telling anyone they're wrong, everyone is entitled to their opinion*

People need to stop bagging on people saying that any band with a female lead are copying each other and people need to stop saying that. A female lead-singer isn't all that matters, what matters is that people need to understand the story through the music and if they feel encourgement or inpowerment through the song, that is what I feel Paramore and VersaEmerge are similar, they give me encouragement through their songs, when I listen to their songs I feel so happy. I think people are mostly comparing them to paramore because of the same signing to fueledbyramen... VersaEmerge has that sound of their own but, when it comes down to it, usually all bands can be compared to another. I LOVE Paramore and the fact they are similar in style makes me get into VersaEmerge. that's the biggest similarity I see- similar style of music and approach to it.
