Great Memories, It's a real shame, we lost all the Regional stuff from ITV!

Now we are subjected to a generic ITV 1 Logo instead of feeling a bit unique with the old Granada logo.

Just old enough to remember the in vision continuity to!

Bullseye on a Sunday night ready for school on Monday!

And ITV without Jeremy Kyle! Let alone the billion repeats on ITV 2!

Another fantastic upload StevieG. Nice one mate. Memories of the Granada ident, which, as you stated, was literally days old, and one of the best Granada idents, if not the best. Early Evening News, the Powergen idents, Alex Hill doing the Weather back then, Home And Away at 6, the memories flood back. Thanks again mate.

It's good this ident even has the thunder and lightning in the opening alongside the high pitched version of the music (I even like the low pitched music in the closing of the ident) and it's good this video (if it had the LWT ident) would have used the 1993 one and not the 1997 LWT ident.

Though could someone please post that ITV weather ident which debuted in July 1997 which had clockfaces and the Carlton weather ident sponsored by Amarada from autumn 1999?

This was even the old, BETTER News at Ten (though at weekdays, even though Thames was gone and replaced by Carlton, this would be the Carlton ident used until Monday the 6th of September 1999).

They do NOT make TV like THIS anymore. Someone invent a time machine NOW!

Thanks to steviegTVreturns for uploading this. I always go 'Aww!' at the sight of that cuddly, round conger eel smiling and swimming innocently with its lovely big yellow eyes at 0.11 until 0.18, prior to the old ITV National Weather ident which was THEN sponsored by 'Powergen' which even had the thunder and lightning. This even had the old, blue appearance of the ITV news and the old ITV logo from 1989. This even featured in London the 1993 LWT ident (when LWT even existed at the time).
