I was at this concert, I travelled from fucking Iceland only for this. I was kinda disappointed both with Slayer, and Megadeth (I'd seen them both live numerous times before) but most of all with the crowd. What the fuck was going on??? Were there only certified Public accountants and civil servants down there??? I have never, in over 20 years of concert going experience, seen anything like that in a crowd of that magnitude.

Sweden sucked metal wise this time. But it sucked big time.

Everyone bitches about the crowd being 'lame'. The crowd is into it! Not every Slayer fan is a 20 something male dying to start a mosh pit and fist fight. Their are multi generational fans, some of whom just want to throw their fist in the air and headbang...or maybe just watch and listen. I've seen Slayer countless times including Reign In Blood tour in '86. Been there, done that. I'm content just to see a good performance out of these guys

I'm 43 yrs old myself and frankly would get broken in half if I stepped into a pit today :) The funny thing is, now that Tom can't headbang anymore, all of that energy is channeled into a much more consistent vocal performance. He sounds awesome nowadays! Oddly enough his stage presence is more interesting the way he just surveys the crowd and makes eye contact. Just my 2 cents.
