More accurately, I'd say in this particular video Fox News has improved from the biased, name-calling mess they usually portray. I watch Fox News regularly, and this is not the norm.
If that's so, then you could say they heard the voice of the American people and are doing their jobs. And the ratings prove they're giving the people what they want.
Can't say that for the competition. They vilify the people and continue to push their agenda completely ignoring what their audience says.
If Fox has "changed" then that's not a bad thing. That's the RIGHT thing to do.
A media outlet's job is to report the news, not echo a particular party's ideology.
Typical conservative logic you are using. Ratings prove that people are watching, not that everyone believes and supports what they are saying. I watch, but I don't agree with them.
It's an established fact that most of Fox News programming is OPINION, not news. And even the "news" is influenced by the opinion shows on Fox. Anyone who calls Fox News "fair and balanced" has fallen victim to the hype.
But my POINT, bek12, is that more people are watching Fox, and there's something to be said for that. Are some of them lefties? Sure. But that doesn't mean squat. Not sure where my logic is flawed, really. No matter what you think, people wouldn't watch Fox if they didn't want to. I highly doubt that many lefties are watching because they hate Fox.
Do you think A-Mess-NBC is unbiased? Or do you acknowledge they're an arm of the liberal minority?
There's "something to be said" that Fox News has high ratings? Well, I guess we can agree that they have high ratings, but not sure what there is to be said about it, other than that. If that is all you meant to say, with no further implication, then sure, your logic is fine. As far as lefties watching Fox... who knows?
I don't know about MSNBC. I only watch Fox and CNN. However, since I know CNN isn't liberally biased, as so many conservatives claim, then I'm guessing MSNBC isn't either.
You lose any credibility you were slowly getting when you claim that as a CNN watcher, you don't think they're liberally biased. And to just assume AMessNBC is the same, well... you're right. They're essentially the same. They both smear patriots and glorify Obama.
You're really silly, ironclad. Why would I lose credibility just because I disagree with some conservative online? You lost common sense is what you lost, pal. :)
The point I was making was that I was paying attention to you and taking your points seriously (even while disagreeing with you) until you said MSNBC and CNN aren't liberally biased.
But it's been nice talking with another "open minded" liberal.
No. Anyone who doesn't think CNN is a bastion of liberalism isn't paying attention.
You're close minded because you think I'm stupid because I'm a conservative. You failed to open your mind to the possibility that you may be the one who is wrong, and instead chose to insult the one with whom you disagree.
Actually, you insulted me first. I certainly take being "close-minded" as an insult, as most people would.
You labeled yourself a conservative when you insisted CNN is liberal. If you watched it with an open, intelligent mind, you would see it's actually CORPORATE media. It's all about getting the advertising dollars, not pursuing a leftist agenda. However, look at Fox News, where most of the "news" is conservative talking heads. There is certainly an agenda there. You conservatives... lol
I guess Fox got the message from the White House, straighten up your act, or be frozen out for good.
Murdock himself has said recently that only 9 hrs out of the 24 hr cycle at Fox News can be called News. The White House had it right.

Great journalism! I'd like to see CNN and MSNBC report this way. Impartial and unbiased.
Fair and balanced indeed!

So anyone who doesn't think CNN is a bastion of liberalism is closed-minded? Looks like you're the close-minded one here.
