@rodmckuenfan ~ THAT would be terrific if you could. In September of that same year (1968) we had the opportunity to see Rod in concert at the old Melodyland (an "in the round" venue) which was located in Anaheim, California. I was able to talk with him a bit and he was kind enough to autograph Kathy's copy of "Listen To The Warm." THEN he took our request, from an audience call, and did Kathy's favorite at the time ~ A Cat Named Sloopy. It was magic that night for both of us, such memories

I have not heard the English version of this song for more than 40 years now since the love of my life, Kathy, played it for me after I took her home from our very first date ~ March 2nd, 1968. I was 20 and she, 19. It was the very first time in my life that I truly felt loved ~ as she laid her head in my lap as we sat them, in silence, listening to this beautiful recording. I wish it were here in English. I lost Kathy to Vietnam, 17 wonderful months later. The best time of my entire life.

@MrRonnieG Hello! I'm very sad to hear about the passing of the love of your life, Kathy. What a tragic story. I hope time has been able to bring you some peace. I'm only 21 now and I just discovered the album, The Sea, last year. It's unlike any other kind of album I've ever heard with it's beautiful orchestrations and poetry. I'll try to upload a copy of the English version of "My Friend the Sea" for you to hear. The English version is much better in my opinion.
