America has a way louder culture then the Russians. Even in Wars. The Vietnam war seems so much more interesting with the 60's music and hearing drug stories from my old neighbors. But Russia(USSR) seems.....duel and horrible. Don't get me wrong war is bad anyway. I am just stating that America is louder.

So we sent more troops to help the South vietnamese defend them selves in a fight they should have been fighting. What goods come from Vietnam? Malaria? Polio? Wtf would we want there?

If the USSR went to war in Vietnam in 1979 how do you think they would have done in the War? Better of worse than the Americans? - I think the Russian soldier is more braver than the US one though

im pretty sure the Red army would have won but however at a price and my reason follows below. the USSR would have won with heavy casualties and with the help of the vietcongs. as you have probably learned that the vietcongs were a crazy group of mfkers and with their help we would have probably won REMEMBER !!! Most of the American soldiers in the Vietnam war were drafted and didn't even know what they were fighting for. They were thousands of miles away from home walking through enemy territory and fighting for nothing.
