  • Ron Paul is a leprecon how talks abowt gold all the time. We need a reel conservative leader Rick Santorum to stop the liberal quoir Mormon from Masachusets and his social communism and go beat Obama and his Rushian communism.

  • united we stand divided we fall!

  • Yeeeeah... yeeeah....

  • Hmmmmm… are the percentages shown suppose to add to 100% because they clearly do not?

  • Get a load of the look on the guy's face to the far left near the end of that.

His earpiece was buzzing with chatter....

  • You can see the seriousness in Colberts eyes, the moment hes done saying it he looks like hes wanted to get that out.

  • i didn't get the joke at @0:40

  • @hugga4u

    It's a Rumpelstiltskin reference.

    Ooold story.

  • @GNinja Wikipedia helped me understand this joke.

  • If I had money, I’d endorse Ron Paul.

  • this isnt endorsement

  • I'm voting for Stephen Colbert.

  • Saying it's admirable for a person not to change positions is hardly an endorsement.

And the question wasn't who is your pick for President. It was out of the 4 candidates that remain. Stephen is way too liberal for Ron Paul. The only liberal thing about him is the weed and war issue. Which are the only two positions that get him any attention. If people listened to him in the 90's the way they do now, they would have seen the racist, homophobe Paul really is.

And the Paulbots come in 3...2...1

  • @MrDl778 that last bit shows you are tired of being corrected?

  • @MrDl778 AND 0 lol. Hes also more liberal than any other candidates when it comes to civil liberties and freedom from the government (Opposes patriot act, NDAA, drug war...). His actions speak louder than those disgusting words put out by someone else under his name. If you know anything about Ron Paul you can tell he didnt write that, hes never said anything like that in any of his written books, speeches, or interviews. The way he has voted also proves that hes not about that kind of stuff.

  • You realize that that WAS NOT an endorsement right? He said he is intellectually consistant. He meant that he CONSISTENTLY has no idea what should be done.

  • @acer589 Opinion. Consistently he knows what to do.

  • @acer589 Don't know what you're on. What doesn't he have a solution for? I'd be very interested in hearing your explanation.

  • @acer589 to Colbert: If you had to choose from the 4 on stage last night, who would you choose? Colbert response: I like Ron Paul, I really do...... As close to an endorsement he was going to give. I think it was a nod to the kow towery of the other guys

  • @acer589 Are you intentionally blocking out the solutions Ron Paul gives? Or just hard of hearing?

  • @acer589 On the contrary; that is the most sincere I've ever seen Colbert in my life. Ron Paul is his guy.

  • Why is that crying like an idiot?

  • That blond lady reptile looks horny.

  • You realize that Ron Paul is still insane like all the other republican candidates right?

    He's just a consistent crazy

  • @blmendivil Typical anti-paul comment..... Fruitless, hateful, and misled.....

  • @blmendivil You've come so far on the internet yet with all the informatin at the tips of your fingers yet you FAIL! Become a critical thinker, learn to use the internet for information properly there are no other logical conclusions if you heed this advice then Dr. Paul.

  • Is it just me or does the guy on the far left look pissed after he said that? lol

  • great call Colbert! Ron Paul for 2012!!!!

  • BAM!

  • he definitely doesn't endorse ron paul...I don't think any liberal would say that ron paul isn't the best choice out of the republicans. He definitely endorses a democrat for president.

  • @NateGales1 sorry, whoru?

  • Hows that ? spin hey ? into what ? Hey into gold ? whay are they laughing ?

  • @ANTIDALLARD Rumpelstiltskin my man...ain't you never been a child?

  • @ANTIDALLARD Apparently they're laughing hysterically at old people.... nice

  • That was so funny, did you see there faces when he said Ron Paul. hahahaha great one Colbert.

  • 1:41 The dude on the end looks like an idiot

  • I am not a fan of this klown . I wish he and kathy griffin would go to an island with Joy Behar and never be seen again

  • @airkooled05 You don't like Stephen Colbert?! SHUN THE NON-BELIEVER!

  • I like how Joe is laughing his ass off at the joke and audience behind him is like, "What? Was that a joke?" RUMPSTILSKIN. But it's understandable: it's not a vampire love story, so today's people wouldn't get it.

  • Colbert always said he was a Libertarian at heart like Beck says, but it looks like Steven is walking the walk and Beck endorsed Newt and thinks its unfair to impeach Newts strange marriages that sell missile secrets to our enemies

  • why didnt steven call him pn that bull shit lie ,

  • Ron Paul For your children!!!!

  • Ave rage American knows average issues

    Vote for the Doctor

or the Daleks will " exterminate " U

  • Why do people care who celebrities endorse? Is it that much easier to blindly follow than to use your brain?

  • @ctwatcher I dont think any real people do the media just makes it look that way.

  • @ctwatcher yes, for most people, doing what the pretty lady or handsome man on the tv tells you to do is much much easier than doing independent research or deciding for oneself. that is why advertising works as well as it does. tell people what they want, but make them feel good about it, and they will put their money on it.

  • @LadyCravens When I see all the crazy money being wasted on ads, it makes me not want to buy the product. I like to look at pretty people too now and then but I guess I just don't buy their b.s. political views. Or anything else they try and sell.

  • @ctwatcher glad ur a thinker. having gone through business and marketing classes and working in retail, I can tell you the money isn't wasted. the average person is likely to respond to a well made ad. deez are de facts. That is why all the data people put on networking sites is so valuable. favorite colors, holidays, flavors, sports teams, restaurants- every bit of information is valuable for developing demographic stats to create advertisements to sell products. It's disgustingly effective.

  • @LadyCravens I guess I don't play. Never put up a favorite color, holiday, flavor, sports team, restaurants or any other info. Anything a celebrity endorses, I boycott. When an ad pops up on internet, I don't click and I don't buy. But it does show us how many people are followers and ignorant to boot. I wish them luck.

  • Colbert is not that funny.

  • @biozamadotcom

That's because you are an idiot.

  • Only 9% above Ron Paul. What's with all the hate? These guys should be held to account..Explain that statement please, don't let them off the hook. Asshole

  • what he should have said is… "Ron Paul is the only candidate who isn't on a corporate payroll."

    YAY RON PAUL!!!!!

  • Since Colbert-endorses Ron Paul, that brings huge numbers of Dems, Indepdnts, and couch potatoes to vote for Ron Paul! That means 100%(Rs) + 10%(Ds) +the 3%+1 who determine the election every time. Do the math....It means Obama loses!

  • So, with Colbert "endorsing" him, are we not supposed to take Ron seriously now?

  • TeeVee is creepy.

  • 1:33 'It's true' -suck away.

Media robot programming . . living the illusion anyway. That is fear you see. Whenever he get's sen in a positive light and might be adding a few points in the public's mind, they all get that look like a head-on collision is coming at them.

CNN/Pentagon media entertainers can force their smiles on you, and keep you down.

America is so braindead right now, no way they will let you think for a second people might turn to Ron Paul.

  • Lol they wanted to hear the answer to bad and as soon as he said "ron paul" they were so fast to change the subject.

  • Ron Paul brings Liberals and Conservatives together

  • @dpalmacci In laughing at him?

  • @dpalmacci How many primaries has he won yet?

  • @claton95 He hasn't won any, but interestingly enough his delegate count is looking very very big. MSM doesn't report this of course because they are doing guesswork, but it's theoretically possible to not win one state and still get the nomination and Paul knows this. He is expected to win Alaska and Washington. He's also neck and neck with Romney in Maine. He probably won't get the nomination, he'll get enough delegates to make an impact at convention and that's very important.

  • @dpalmacci Thats something that'll never happen and I don't want to see happen >.<

  • @dpalmacci I think even that Ron Paul could end all the choas in the world. By just teaching americans not to be the police of the world and work on their contry to stay the best of the world and show the world how good and peacefull america is :)

  • @dpalmacci So true!!

  • @dpalmacci

Damn straight he does! I'd pick Paul over Obama any day. I have to be honest and admit that I don't believe he will... meaning that Obama takes the cake over any other Republican fielded as of yet, especially Romney.

It's a sad day when the only truly honest politician (except perhaps for Buddy Roemer) doesn't stand as much of a chance. And when a comedian CRUSHES everyone else in the race :D

  • Wow way to CHANGE THE SUBJECT. They just did not want to process that response.

  • @roxyndra yes the whole world is against ron paul (roll eyes)

  • Calling this an "Endorsement" is just beyond pathetic. Basically, after saying he would actually pick Cain, they got him to pick one of the four left, and he said Ron Paul. Why? Because he is consistent. So you got him to say that he thought Ron Paul was the least offensive Republican because at least he is consistent. He is consistently a bigoted douche, congrats! lol

  • @Relinquishtheloot Thank you...after all the hit pieces back in '08 and after ALL of the nonsense this guy has said about the man (even the hit piece song in 1813) now he endorses ron paul. I don't like Judas goat as a term but you can't just act like you're on someones side after semi listening and telling the truth then making fun of us then going back presenting some more truth then completely making fun of us and now you're on our side for good? nah.

  • @Relinquishtheloot, you are kidding, right? Two of Ron Paul's greatest heroes are MLK and Rosa parks.

  • @Relinquishtheloot Wait, if you think he would actually pick Cain you have no sense of Humor. True this was no endorsement. But he was not picking Cain, that was the joke. He was picking Ron as the guy he likes most.

  • @paulbrennan101 Ron-Paul-stiltskin

  • Latest from Ron Paul's magazine released: "A segment called “Race War?” from the June 1990 issue of Political Report warns that a race war might be imminent due to “the victimization mentality created by the civil rights movement, where every black failure is a white crime. If there is indeed this sort of trouble ahead, it is just another reason why every honest American should be armed.”"

  • He gave an honest answer and the subject was quickly changed.

  • RON PAUL is our best shot for a PEACEFUL REVOLUTION!!...Ron Paul 2012

  • Sorry, but i don't like comedians anymore. People are really facing hard times and it's just not good anymore to have jackasses on mocking the American people.

    Ron 2012.

    And...Mika is very attractive.

  • @paulbrennan101

The joke was a reference to Rumpelstiltskin.

  • Quick, change the subject...

  • I love both colbert and the daily show and it is really sad when these comedy shows are more respectable than many of the so called "news outlets". Someone needs to bring respectable journalism back to america, but that would mean userping years of keysnian economic and monetary policy which the fed and feds dont want hapening

  • "Intellectually consistent"

I want that for my country.

  • Yeah...The Colbert bump for Ron Paul.

  • Good Job Steven

  • Bill Kristol's newly launched Emergency Committe For Israeli is dropping millions running anti-Paul ads in South Carolina. At least they're not hiding their agenda or their issue with Ron Paul. As for the press, it all comes down to money. Whoever owns the media, makes the rules and the presstitutes are at heart careerists....they do not want to jeapordize that nice living by appearing pro-Paul when the powers that be let it be known that Paul is not acceptable.

  • If he had said any other candidate they would have spent 5 minutes talking about it, but because he said Ron Paul they all went dead silent and changed the subject. Mainstream media at its finest

  • @7ranc3Addict it made the idiot reporter stop laughing too!

  • @7ranc3Addict I loved the stupid-ass looks on their faces!

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • =D

  • I can't wait 'til tonight's Daily Show. I hope Stewart brings up Paul being ignored again.

  • @yadidimeanmaine There is no Daily Show on Fridays.

  • lol what the fuck that guy in the pink shirt was mad dogging colbert so bad after he said he liked ron paul. You can even see colbert like triple take to that guy

  • Is it weird that I get my comedy from the news and my news from Comedy Central?

  • Ron paul all the way . .

  • who wants to join my dog wanking club??

  • omg, the guy on the far left, his face at the end is PRICELESS

  • @amvance That dude actually likes Ron Paul. I think he was trying really hard to hide his astonishment.

  • If a candidate drops out, can they give their delegates to whomever they want? Could Colbert give his SC delegates to Ron Paul?

  • @WhatsReallyGoingOnUS He's not on the ballot

  • That's the first time in Colbert's life something non-cynical has escaped his mouth, and it was a semi endorsement of Ron Paul! He basically said "Listen guys, the jokes are off for a bit here. I am 100% serious right now. Ron Paul is the man, he is the only honest guy up there." This guy NEVER breaks character, not even for presidents. Damn, this is some shit.

  • @jeruon yeah never seen colbert do that!!!! he actually broke his stupid character for a minute!

  • Notice the change of subject and awkward silence immediately after he drops the Ron Paul bomb. Awesome. Ron Paul 2012!

  • everything went mute when he endorsed Ron Paul, even the crowd. that's wild!!

  • body language , zombie boy squirm like a worm

  • Comedy Central - FAIR AND BALANCED

Fox news i think is a bigger joke than comedy central can ever be.

Thanks Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Ron Paul 2012!

Don't vote for Liars like Obama & Romney!

  • @hehefromhere And Gingrich and Santorum.... Ron Paul is literally the only honest one up there.

  • haha the dirty presstitutes didn't expect that, all the laughter stopped

  • @fleischpudding u notice how when he endored ron paul all laughter stopped haha epic

  • The wool is being pulled out from people's eyes. Almost everyone likes Ron Paul. The media's going to have to admit it and get behind him.

  • OMG! the faces on them when they heard Ron Paul.

  • Ron Paul wins by getting delegates to to vote for him. that is how he wins and America wins.

  • You could of heard a pin drop when all the presstitutes couldn't believe what they were hearing when he endorsed Dr. Paul. Amasing. :)

    RON PAUL 2012

  • THEY ARE SO RIGGING THIS VOTE - LETS SEE HOW MANY ENDORSEMENTS RON PAUL HAS GOT NOW - THE CROWDS THAT SEE RON PAUL COMPARED TO THE OTHER JOKE CANDIDATES - THERE SHOULD BE A WAY RON PAUL VOTERS CAN REGISTER THEIR VOTE IN THESE ELECTIONS MAKE THE RIGGING ALL THE MORE HARDER FOR THEM

  • Fake News Deliver the Best News From Comedy Central... Ron Paul 2012

  • smart guy.
