I agree this should not be the final boss. I can see the boss being in the game just not the Final Boss all the other TF games I played Final Bosses were machines.... I guess since developers from Treasure helped with the creation of the game... Could be the reason why this boss is so out of place. (Treasure Developed Gradius V for Konami) Also I would have liked for the beginning CGI to be an actual stage depending on which ship you pick....
Respond to this video... Don't care what anyone says. Arcade shooters will always have more WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT than survival horror games. The thing was uglier than joseph slayton.
Overall this game doesn't look terrible, I'm a solid thunder force fan 3 on up. but yeah this boss is just doesn't feel like it should be in this series, it looks like it should be probably gradius. If it looked even more mutated then I'd say r-type. I think they should have kept to the more cybernetic final boss style but I can see what they were trying to do something different since many of the mobs/bosses are based on older bosses but ended up making something generic.
