They gave Nishi's little justice. People don't waste your time watching this anime you will, 9/10 end up disappointed in the end. The manga is a lot better and to be honest one of the best manga's I've ever read.

Nishi's death was sad no doubt but Katou's death was even sadder cause he promised his little brother that he would always take care of him and that he would come back. When he fought that monster he was so close to surviving he only needed like one more second but it was to late and he died at the very end. That whole scence was sad My eyes were watering.

Like most people I hated Nishi and couldn't wait for his death in the series. However the dying scene was... idk touching I should say. Jerk or not he's still just a kid doing what he had to do to survive and make it home.

Kai didn't have Kishimoto revived because the real her still existed in the real world. The one that died in gantz was just a copy. Also, he brought back Nishi because he was knowledgeable and could help the others when he choose to leave.

This is amazing. Gantz is amazing! You see all this people and you wish them they die, but when they die or when there is the opportunity to kill someone, you feel strange... well I feel strange...

Nishi was my favourite protagonist in the anime. I've watched this anime now from episode 1 to 13 or 14 (not much, I know), but Nishi is such an amazing person... He is awesome!

This is probably the 2nd most depressing moment in Gantz history (Number 1 being the girls death, Kei or something I haven't watched/read Gantz in a while. Just so said, Kurono just went beserk when she died. I cryed, and I never cry for an anime. Nishi being my #1 fav character, his death is just said because of his speech. People that haven't watched the anime, your lucky cause the anime series scarred my life. Don't watch the anime, read the manga.

This scene gave me a feeling ive never gotten from an anime before and I've been watching anime for over 12 years now.... it was really powerful.. at first i hated nishi especially up to this point.. when you realize... hes just a human and his death actually made me sad... even though its a cartoon it gave me wierd emotionals and made me look at the people im so quick to hate... if that makes any sense..

'Mostly there way about showing emotion, and the lack of growth in the characters. A lot of the characters seem to be cookie cutters from other shows like that, In the end it just had nothing to deep about it.  Not the Characters and not the storyline.

I agree with Darkphoenix3450, Elfen Lied anime SUCKS BALLS BADLY! But actually Gantz anime does it a little too. Gantz anime end is shit against Gantz manga continuation, which KICKS ASS! Also Elfen Lied manga is different, there's no corny bullshit, at the end everybody hates everyone, just plain killing and gore, fuck all those emotional anime leftovers.

Dugongo il manga va ben oltre l'anime.

L'anime si ferma alla terza missione quindi ne inventa una quarta che faccia da finale.

La prima serie del manga (Gantz) arriva ad un totale di 8 missioni.

La seconda serie (Gantz: Second Phase) ne conta solo due ma la prima è a dir poco infinita, la seconda corta ma lascia il segno.

Infine la terza serie (Gantz: Final Phase) è prevista per gli inizi di Ottobre.

Cmq sia, sì Nishi ritorna.

Nishi was my favorite character,he is the most powerful character in the whole anime the proof is when he is drawing his last breath Gantz kept displaying his icon in the scoreboard.

Its as if Gantz himself is afraid of Nishi`s power.

He may be skilled in the anime but in the manga it's a whole different ballgame. There are quite a few people that can kick his ass. Major SPOILERS AHEAD Off the top of my head, the following people could probably defeat Nishi: Izumi (If He were alive) Host Samurai Kill Bill Sakurai (Arguably) Sakata (Once again, arguable) Daizemon Kaze (If he touches him of course) Majority of the Osaka Team (Once again, if they were alive) And Finally Kei himself. Don't worry though, Nishi is a cool guy.

No, he revives Katou first, and then Kaze (a really cool character you never meet in the anime) offers to revive someone else for Kurono. That's when Nishi is brought back (and not Kishimoto? That's wrooong, Kei).
