I wouldn't call Alexis exactly supportive of Steve's gay relationships. Alexis told Steven she wanted him to meet a woman of the right class. She disapproved of Sammy Jo because she thought of her as white trash. I'm sure Alexis didn't think that well of Claudia's background either - remember Claudia was married to Matthew and they definitely weren't well off. For Alexis, it's always about Blake losing.
Steven's lawyer is Grant Goodeve, otherwise known as David Bradford from "Eight is Enough". The judge is John Randolph from Escape From the "Planet of the Apes", "King Kong" - the crappy 1976 version, and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" where he played Clark Griswald's father.
its funny how no one was smart enough to ask Blake the most important question??.....what would he do if danny grew up to become gay....what would blake do in that case??
Having a gay son is perfect for Alexis's feminine-dominant narcissism -- she doesn't have to compete with other women if there are only men in her son's life.
This trial is some great dramatic stuff -- unrealistic, no doubt, but excellent at drawing out some of the deep, underlying dysfunctions and disruptions in the family.
I love how Alexis tries to steer Steven away from Crazy Claudia at every opportunity. She plants seeds without coming straight out and telling him she's crazy - great stuff. Interestingly, Alexis is always supportive of Steven's gay relationships but hates all his straight ones - Sammy Jo and Crazy Claudia. Later in the series, she rehires Luke Fuller at Colbyco so he can be close to Steven. Of course it also drags Steven away from Claudia, far be it for Alexis to miss an opportunity!
At 7:09 when Alexis is talking to Krystle, that is some of the best acting and cinematic choreography I have seen in this series yet. When she pulls that vail down over her face and smiles after putting on her red gloves...just classic! I had to watch it over and over again about 5 times! Ha ha!
I'm 100% with Alexis-Blake uses his power to buy&sell people like they are objects. Sammy Jo knew how Crystal is about babies& figured she could get a fortune. It's not fair that Alexis gets blamed for all of the negative things that happen&claims that the "good" stuff is his accomplishment. Alexis knows that Stephen is a grown man&responsible for his own behaviour. If he was a 12 year old with no income than he would be in trouble.Basically Blake is just doing this due to Stephen's bisexuality.
I'm getting really sick of them bringing up the baby all the time. A baby shouldn't be born into the world with a "job" of keeping people together. It would never solve any problems as the fundamentals of the marriage are messed up. Crystal&Blake shouldn't have rushed into the marriage before knowing everything about them (like that Crystal would be married to 2 men which is illegal) so now they are like 2 strangers who know nothing about each other

claudia is the most beautiful female cast on dynasty despite her crazy character, her voice sounds lovely, compassionate

I love Krystle's face at 6:24 - like an exasperated mother about to give a recalcitrant child the spanking it deserves.

There is no way any judge worth his salt would allow Alexis to take control of the trial the way she does for as long as she does.
