Re-watch the presidential debates of 2000 and 2004. If the criteria was eloquent delivery Bush lost every time yet he served two terms. Realistic common sense leadership usually beats naive unrealistic (expensive) collectivism. There are fewer incentives. The majority of Americans aren't and won't be better off under Obama -- obamacare = worse health care for most and more debt -- cap & trade = higher taxes and more debt for an unproven theory -- economic stimulus (pork) more debt.
It's not always about good ideas. Sometimes it's about defeating your opponent and preventing him from implementing bad ideas. I don't expect much from the US government. Bush gave us a tax rebate, lower taxes and since 9/11 he's kept the bad guys running & hiding or dead. Relatively speaking, America has a market-based economy. Individuals and companies constantly do what they perceive to be in their best interests. This explains everything and this is why Americans have traditionally enjoyed one of the highest standard of living in the world. There are more immigrants in my neighborhood than natives -- they could have went to any of the numerous socialist countries with "free" health care but they didn't. Most Americans have HC and they like it.

I am with you on over spending. I hate it. But what is so ironic is how the right and left try and justify their spending.
When the Democrats spend they spend it on domestic initiatives and infrastructure, social programs etc. The Right then screams "Pork spending"
However when the right spends trillions on two "wars" and military contracts and killing people over seas in the name of security, that's fiscal spending responsibility.

Re-watch the presidential debates of 2000 and 2004. If the criteria was eloquent delivery Bush lost every time yet he served two terms. Realistic common sense leadership usually beats naive unrealistic (expensive) collectivism. There are fewer incentives. The majority of Americans aren't and won't be better off under Obama -- obamacare = worse health care for most and more debt -- cap & trade = higher taxes and more debt for an unproven theory -- economic stimulus (pork) more debt.

That's the problem, as long as campaigns cost millions of dollars, the two party system will always be here to stay. And if we try to abolish it and implement a campaign fund, with personal contributions only, we would get maybe 50 members in the House to vote for it, and probably not a single Senator. We are stuck, so we have to vote for the lesser of two evils until the Progressive Liberal movement gets a heavy handed majority and then maybe we can institute change, or at least we can hope.

It is fucking outrageous that Van Jones was fired. Why the fuck didn't Obama stand up for the man? Does Glenn Beck run the White House now? Is calling an asshole an asshole a terminating offense now? Has this country lost grasp on reason? This is incredibly discouraging news. I lost all faith in my nation during Bush. This shit is just rubbing it in my face that the US is utterly ruined.

Go all the way and support the restoration of the Draft.
See, this is left for Obama to do. Tell us we need the Draft so there will be more reason for a nation of bigots to hate him and have a rebound effect on Blacks.
U will forget Bush got us in these wars and remember that it was a Black man who reinstituted the Draft because u and Bush were 2 cowardly to do so.

He is now working to assist healthcare
insurance companies.
