That is a sound a hundred other electric guitars can get. When I see a Strat demonstration the one thing I want to hear is how good it is at producing the classic Stat sound not how good the distortion device is.

i use this guitar and i must say that it is not bad

doesn't give you eargasmic tones like some other (more expensive) guitars...

this video definitely doesn't do the guitar justice...i mean how are the viewers supposed to know how the guitar really sounds like with all that distortion and fuzz?

I agree, this just sounds rude but not in a good way, very digitized. Just not very dynamic, the attacks are the same as the decay.

Just tried out on an hour ago, I am in love with it. I have a new american standard, but the powerhouse is close if not better in sound than my beloved strato. I am definitely thinking of buying it.

By the way, I don't know who is the guy on the video but his playing is pretty weak...He plays scales one note after the other...Fender should use professionals all the time
