How to extract a 7z File

It doesn't show the 7z thing when I right click, can someone tell me how I can put it there. Or can I just open the actual file and find it; could that work?

i tried this process but it always fails, i dont know why. when i right click it only shows open and scan with an antivirus progran and not the 7z thing that u had.

i saw that u used windows xp, but i use windows 7, has it got something to do with that?

if u have Winrar u can extract 7z just like a RAR file. if u dont have winrar get 7zip and then extract it using ur 7zip app

this doesnt make sense man this guy said extract with 7zip i have 3 files of lrc part 2 3 so the problem is i also have winrar. when i downlaoded all the parts it came to winrar format. now extreact with 7zip? so i just get the part 1 2 and highlight all 3 of them and then extract here or wat help me man then it said setup bat

if u want but as long as u have them all in the same folder or desktop u only did to right click on one and it will extract the rest

@shadowla05 I'm trying to get mgs1 to work on my psx emulator, but it is in a 7z folder, I don't have 7zip, but I have winrar(trial). I tried converting mgs1 but the problem is that it doesn't convert to a file I can use, it goes into a .ecm. THEN I have to convert it to a .bin which I can't find out how to do, please help.

if u have winrar it will open 7z files u just have to to recognized 7z files when u set up winrar.
