you guys obviously dont play ice hockey... this movie means alot, and this speech means just as much... it was a bunch of college kids playing against the best trained, most overpowered team, and beating them when america was in need... his minnesotan accent is also a major part....
I'd rather not listen to an Eskimo do this speech. If al pachino did it then it would have been watchable, that may be one of the most annoying accents I've ever heard.
Even tho it wasnt quite the win the 1980 team had, the win USA had over Canada the day before the 30th anniversary was something special. Nothing can ever compare to the 1980 win, but im sure Herb was looking down and smiling!! :)
i have to agree but the dedication at the end of the movie about how he never saw the movie he lived it how cool is that but yes may herb brooks rest in peace

does anyone know were I can find the "You'll take it to your grave speech". May have been the second intermission of the soviet game?

@andhoppy71 I think it was after 1st or 2nd intermission of the gold medal game. I'm not sure if there's audio or video for it though

Brooks had to be wearing those plaid pants in real life. No Hollywood costumer would think of dressing the character in them.

Kurt? Could have picked someone better for this role.
Put a patch on his eye and just rename it Escape from Lake Placid...
