Running (1978 Film) soundtrack.wmv

The film score was taken and modified from the Official Olympic Documentary Games of the XXI Olympiad, Montreal 1976. The music is very inspirational, particularly in it's use during the marathon duel between Frank Shorter and Waldemar Cierpinski. I have been trying to purchase a copy of this film from the IOC but have been unsuccessful to date. The National Film Board of Canada produced a short version of the documentary called 26 Times in a Row that has some of the music on it.

@ShaneMullaney by the way do u know whatever happened to the ending scene in which mike's coach asks him to forgive him? it seems to be lost in oblivion - it's no longer part of the movie tho it s very important

@EXCLUVELY4HOTGEEKS I checked Mr. Gagnon's website and listened to every selection contained in "Nelligan." This great theme is not there!  I have sent a communique to Mr. Gagnon's agent requesting the name, and availability of the score used. Will post if I hear back! Dave Lounder

Do you have the name of the track that is played as Andropolis finishes his marathon after the injury? I think the music is by Andre Gagnon. Thanks.
