  • Wow je suis vraiment jalouse! C'est magnifique.

  • 14 people from California watched this video and hated it because they got frostbite

  • @EvilRaj That was probably me. I put it up on facebook and some people commented on it. God damn I want to experience this in person.

  • what if you fall through!!

  • @OwenRogersCanada lol u wont, teh ice is extremely thick

  • Seeing the water under them at 0:45 just makes me smile:)

  • Belinda Carlisle was correct when she sung about Heaven being a place on Earth; she just didn't mention that it was located somewhere in the Yukon Territory!

  • The ice in NHL should be big like this ...

  • @gpotrouverdepseudo disageed! Watch some european hockey that they play on big ice and you'll reconsider your words! :P

  • Nice wide angles, so peaceful...

what camera did you use to film this?

  • nice video , its so peaceful out there, just skate haha :P

  • Bro, you need a goalie! I'm on my way!

  • Wow, that is just incredibly beautiful. How thick is the ice? What kind of camera are you using?

  • how the fuck did u get this many views already. fuckin hell. can i ask u how many hours of daylight u get there?? cause when i left oslo we were lucky to get 5 to 6 hours. we got one snowfall so far, and im in ireland right now. its 20 degrees warmer technically but about two times as cold. im sitting inside my house here for some reason its winter its 12 degrees outside at night and im still struggling to stay warm here compared to minus 10 in oslo. hope u guys are getting on ok.

  • hey you there person with the mind of your own? oh ya you make the right decisions. will your decision making lead you to check my channel out? and end up actually liking the music within? oh baby its great shit

  • ahhhh miss hockey in the Yukon!!

  • I wish I knew how to skate well. Having that much open space to skate looks like fun.

  • I wanna go there

  • Ooooooooo,....Wow.....!!!

  • Jealous...very very jealous. BEAUTIFUL ice and surrounded by mountains

  • Home sweet home. I love being a Yukoner.

  • This is what heaven looks like

  • @smyleh YESSIR!

  • excellente vidéo...ça fait rêver à un match à 10 contre 10, ou 20 contre 20 même, mon village contre ton village, où les gardiens pêchent sur la glace pendant que l'action est un kilomètre plus loin

  • So nice!

  • Mystery, Alaska?

  • @LevVic1 shut up, it clearly says windy arm, yukon

  • Unbelivable!!!

  • Wow, fricken gorgeous. Like another planet.

  • how deep do u think that big ass lake is

  • i would do anything for that

  • so jealous!! looks so smooth! i bet a Zamboni couldn't even make the ice that amazing!

  • Impressionnant !

  • If this doesn't make you jealous, there's no maple syrup in your veins

  • @gganz Or vodka!!!

    :-)

  • @gganz theres no maple trees in the yukon....

  • ахуительно

  • Ahh yes I love home, cant wait to be back for the holidays.

  • I'm from Whitehorse - Windy arm is about an 1 hr from here; tons of little lakes and what not (and up near Skagway thousands of glacial summit ponds). Never seen ice like this though - first Yukon vid to hit 1 million views?

  • @sdmac21 I'm grew up in the Yukon (Whitehorse). I was thinking the same thing about this becoming the first Yukon video to hit a million views, haha.

  • Just stunning

  • beautiful mountains

  • This video is extra awesome because these guys can skate - sloppy skating would lower the awesome factor.

  • @jeepcaron it was shot in the yukon? try google maps or something bud.

  • God has one mighty fine Zamboni! You don't see ice that nice in some arenas.

  • ???

  • THIS WAS FILMED IN THE YUKON AT THE BORDER WITH BC NOT IN ALASKA

  • @jeepcaron i like how you say its filmed in alaska when it say YUKON right on the video. and i was just on google maps its at the B.C/ YUKON border dumbass

  • this is awesome

  • I love how this video has over six times more views than the population of the whole Yukon.

  • @aliwally333

    why is that even funny

  • Where is this place? its amazing .__.

  • @sanntiimusic Windy Arm, Yukon. read the video title?

  • @TEAMCANADAPC sorry, thank you^^

  • Canada is the most beautiful place on earth. oh and go leafs!

  • Fiquei imaginando os tubarões assistindo sua refeição se movendo

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • This is just beautiful. Nothing matters on that surface, just the simple bliss you feel as you skate and play on that clear sheet of ice is enough. You forget about everything, you forget about whatever troubles you, you forget about any hardships that surround you, and you feel nothing but happiness. This is the true joy that something as simple as pond hockey can bring you.

  • This is one of the most amazing things I, as a native TEXAN, will NEVER see! Thank you for posting this!

  • GoPro?

  • Fucking ice, how does it work?

  • This video makes me want to grow a beard, throw on some flannel and go out and grab a 6 pack of Molson.

  • can someone explain to me how this isn't dangerous?

  • @antondiep Because the ice is thick enough. Here in the Yukon, we tend to be quite educated about these things and know how to test the thickness.

  • @antondiep One word...... Canada.

  • Truly amazing. I love the earth.

  • wow

  • zen-like bliss

  • Remember this is the yukon, i went ice fishing yesterday dec 16 the ice was 25-30 cent thick will be 1 meter by march.

  • How do people know if the ice is thick enough to be on?

  • Mind-blowingly awesome. I'd go there and do this tomorrow if I could.

  • I just added this to my bucket list. Amazing.

  • wow ses incrooyable le paysage pi a montreal on a meme pas encore de criss de neige tbk de rechaufement clymatique

  • that wasnt a fish at 0.02 that was just the wind blowing the snow lol.

  • @SirHextor it that was a fish I would just get the hell out of there and stay in my closet.

  • Just found Windy Arm, Yukon on Google Maps. Further than Narnia.

  • @LoveIsOwlWeNeed We have to drive to Narnia for groceries.

  • Was that really a big assed fish at :2 seconds in? or just a shadow or some sort?

  • @CuckingFracked2 It's snow blowing on the ice, but it looks like a greenland shark.

  • That ice is absolutely beautiful. Where I'm from, the water rarely ever freezes as nicely as it does in this video. Now all I want to do is skate on this lake. Maybe one day I'll be able to skate there. Fantastic video! :)

  • If you're curious as to why there's no snow on the ice it's because the wind from windy arm is so strong that it blows off all the snow despite the mountains blocking it. i live in the yukon as well and it's an amazing place even with -40 degree weather. I also know gab because this town is so freaking small!!! Congrats on your viral video and I hope they do make a beer commercial there.

  • @Peter0Jacob But how the fuck the lake froze like this, if there is this much wind ?

I dont understand this fact lol...

  • i do this every winter

  • Noone watches ice road truckers?? "good" ice forms in layers making it not see through, "bad" ice is clear like this, but even still it's perfectly safe for skating, just don't drive a big ass semi truck over it :)

Also, good shit guys! nice to see my former classmates going viral.

  • Beautiful, good luck at going viral!

  • This summer, I was up just north of the Dease with my dad and some of his friends. With permission from the local native band we went fishing and looking for trilobite fossils in the most incredible wilderness I had ever seen. Northern BC and the Yukon is what you think of when you think about Canada.

Windy Arm is the Yukon part of Tagish Lake right?

  • Oh Canada! : )

  • how long does it take for the Zamboni to refinish the surface?

  • they dont

  • Wow, what an incredible place to skate!!

  • @Romano164 its an incredible place period.

  • its a big Canadian SNOW fish

  • I live in Alaska and it is snow not a fish ............retar

  • Now that's black ice! I'd like to try ice fishing there for a day or 2.

  • this is what heaven looks like. throw some mile long saucer passes

  • It's not scary guys, maybe you should try to get out the city once in a while.

Fantastic how clear and level the ice is though, never seen it like that I think.

  • How do you know when it's safe to skate on? You're a long way from land if the ice should fail.

  • @Tamaresque He knows because, unlike you, he's seen ice other than in ice cubes. It looks frozen at least 2ft deep, it would hold an elephant. Maybe even that mammoth that the Russians are trying to clone...
