I don't think Rhys should die. He is such a fine man. Gwen doesn't realise how lucky she is that he stays with her. I think he is also very important because he is the 'human' part of Gwen's life. And (like Jack says in S01E01) Gwen makes Torchwood more human. Killing him off would probably change Gwen's character way to drastic.

Also I hate Gwen/Jack relationship and killing Rhys would make her go after the Captain a lot more I think.

Unfortunatly Martha won't die cause she left BBC to go to ITV so they had to change all the scripts cause she was originally in it which is why it isn't coming out till July instead of April when it was supposed to! She will be in Dr Who though

this series will be a 5 parter over five nights in february with each being an hour long on bbc1. it will have ianto and tosh flashbacks and cardiff bay will explode with the big water tower destroyed. the series will be called children of the earth part 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. freema agyemen will appear in the last episode. noel clarke said he wants to appear in s3 so RTD changed the script for DW Journey's End. scene 1 will see the hub blown up with gwen on top and ianto inside. FLASHBACKS FOLLOW

I heard about L&O for Freema, but that doesn't necessary preclude her from TW. Admittedly a full series of TW is a full shooting schedule but other stars have carried more than 1 fulltime series if both shows are willing to work around them. JB for one. Cameron Mathison carried several shows at the same time. I guess it depends on how much time each role would require. We rewatched DW series 4 finale last night & the set up for Martha & Mickie (medic & tech geek) to join TW was just too perfect.
