  • The big box stores around here (Lowes, Home Depot, Menards) sell crimping systems (apollo crimping tools). Is that a good system?

  • @Brizzx32

Yes most pex will say it can be.. if not , all you would need are sleeving that you would just slide over the pex

  • The gripping tool..how would you get it out at the end of the job if the pipe is all connected? ????

  • did you know there are now BFR Fittings? same certification as sharkbite just 1/2 the price, contact them

  • Great video! Thanks for putting it up.

  • MAN Audio is BAD :(

  • I have been a plumber for about 5 years now, And i love the pex from copper switch... The only thing i use copper on anymore is the shower and tub valves and water heaters. Pex is the best stuff to use now-a-days..

  • A yes good plumbers use pex it's more cost effective. B never try to do your own plumbing there is a reason we have to go through years of training to do it, try to do it yourself and you will likely have thousands of dollars on property damage. I paid a thousand dollars to have a doctor remove a piece of metal from my eye a few months ago, i could google how to do it myself but that would be risky and stupid, so is doing your own plumbing.

  • @richfrankthorn aaah whatever you miser, plumbing is easy

  • @richfrankthorn I plumbed my entire house by myself ... no leaks, no problems. Plumbing is easy. Shit flows down hill and don't chew on your fingernails. Plumbers are generally overpriced morons.

  • @kocer77 I'm one month away from getting my plumbing license. There's a lot to plumbing, but what you might be referring to is laziness from plumbers. They have a BAD habit of overpricing materials. I would NEVER do that, since the cost of labor is already MORE than enough to live on. Try to find a Christian plumber.

  • Any good plumber will tell you to stay away from PEX. Period.

  • The woman is speaking way too close to the microphone -- back up!

  • Can you run Pex under ground?

  • @brizzx32 Yes you can bury PEX tubing, just be sure to run it deep enough that no areas will become exposed in the future. It is important to prevent exposure to UV rays.

  • my plummer is using pex in my home for baseboard heat iam not quite confortable with it iam so use to copper. how long does it last ? is it something that i have to maintain?

  • THE WOMAN VOICE IS LIKE FINGER NAILS TO A CHALK BOARD....UUUGGHHHH ! !

  • What about indirect sunloght on pex tubing. Do you recomend covering the tubing after installation. Do you have any Zurn fittings for sale at a good price. Sharhbites can't be used unless there is an access panel in some areas. How is the Zurn lawsuit going and the Kitec suit. Thanks

  • This is a fan-dam-tas-tic video!! This video just saved me alot of money!! my plumber was going to charge me 3 grand to install pex in my house!!

  • very helpful!! 5 stars!!!!!!!!

  • I wish they made a crimp tool with interchangeable sized head instead of buying separate tools for the sizes.

Copper is way too slow, I need to get some PEX.

  • They sell tools with interchangeable heads. They are 120 dollats at Lowes and made by Apollo.
