  • Great video thanks for the info

  • I liked your review VERY much and especially enjoy your accent!

You are really good reviewer person.

    Please keep this up.

  • I have the Brumby with a flat grind and convex edge rather than the Scandi.

The trouble with Blind Horse Knives is that they are like Lays Potato Chips.

You arent going to stop at 1.

  • Edge thickness and angle are always a compromise. The mora might be a sharper cutter than the BHK, but I would feel much safer in doing light baton splitting or hardwood carving with the BKH than the mora.

  • @JustinBaker2567 I totally agree with you. The Scandi Brumby is not a hunting knife but a camping knife. So I left it after actual use in hunting. The new owner will love it in camping chore. Thank you!

  • Moras ROCK! that alisha girl likes taking golden showers. Blind horse knifes are not christian enough for me.

  • @killkill120 What the hell does religion have to do with a well made knife...just curious! And I'm sure if John got his hands on you, you'd be the one enjoying the golden shower.

  • @hanslollick93 Religon has everything to do with a well made knifes. Abraham was going to cut his son's head off for God. Knifes are mentioned in almost all Religons. Urolagnia is an alternative medicine. I will pray for you hanslolickballs93. God bless you. Violence is not the answer.

  • Moras ROCK! that alisha girl like taking golden showers. Blind horse knifes are not christian enough for me.

  • They are very nice knifes. I like moras, bark river bravo, and busse knifes better. You should try busse knifes. They are the greatest knifes right now.

  • @killkill120 Thank you! I will have a Busse C.A.B.S in a couple of weeks.

  • Great video , I own a blind horse bushcrafter with custom red spacers. It's a terrific knife

  • This guy is great! He should have his own late night talk show.....

    Great review.

  • where did you buy the B H K Brumby????

  • @BENT69ER This Brumby is their October special knife. I ordered it from their website this last October and received it very recently. It's how they sell their knives. I guess they are friendly enough to make you a piece of Brumby. It was 110 dollars in October.

  • @virtuovice Thanks I like your videos

  • Outstanding video. (All of them, actually. First rate. Ichiban.)

I'm taking a close look at that Blind Horse PLSK-2, looks similar to the Brumby.

Your passion for this hobby is your strength.

It's very additictive. You turn a simple hobby into a science, to the benefit of us all.

    Thanks very much.

  • Virtuovice, thank you for a great review of our Brumby. It is always good to get feedback on our knives. This is how we get better at making knives with feedback from guys that use them. Thank you very much. I enjoy watching your videos...keep up the good work.

    God Bless

    L.T.

    Blind Horse Knives

  • sexy knives

  • Thanks for the video. I like the look of the Blind Horse Brumby a lot.

Why do you think the green compound isn't working for you?

  • @mz9393mz The reason is just from my experience. The green compound generally dulls my convex edge a bit. But it isn't my individual case. First some knife guy let me know it at the different place from here and I agreed with him. It's not based on the theory. Thank you!

  • I have found 0-1 to be a little better then that. Might be the heat treatment was off on that knife?

  • @bishop85gt I was taught that the heat treat is more and more important than the steel components for the steel hardness and toughness. Mr. Kyley Harris is making D2 steel 58 or some hardness for his knives. So I understand that I must not talk that some steel is soft or not very good. As you say the heat treat should be different on each knife. Thank you!

  • great vid thanx!!!!

  • I smile when you get a new knife that you like

    :o)

  • That is good information about the handle being too short on the Enzo. My full flat grind Brumby is a great comparison to the Fallkniven F1. Both the handle and blade length are similar with full tangs but there are differences. The lanyard hole is far enough back on the handle of the Brumby to be useful. It is like they studied the F1 and then fine tuned it for hunting.

  • BHK - exelent knives, exelent choise ;)

  • you should not excuse your excitement, it is one of the main reasons why your videos are so entertaining. It really rubs off and makes me excited as well.

The informative value of your videos are what draws me in, but your obvious interest is what keeps me coming back.

  • What do you think of knives with gut-hooks like the Buck Zipper Hunting knife?

  • @wmdrtr I once had a gut-hook Buck Vanguard knife. But I never used it usefully. I think of the gut-hook very negatively. Thank you!

  • Thanks again for a very informative video. It is interesting to see the contrast between blades. The Mora cuts wood the best, but is the weakest to handle the job. The problem with knives is wanting them to be multi-purpose. Splitting wood, chopping wood, splitting bone, slicing through animal hide, wood or filleting a fish all require special edge angles/grinds, steels, spine thickness, ergonomics, etc. I like how you comment on bushcraft use even though you use them for skinning animals.

  • I'm curious to see how well that super sharp edge on the Brumby will hold. As you said: it's not a super tough steel. I can't wait to see it in action and hear your opinion on the edge retention.

  • "I'm exciting that. Haha I'm sorry to be laugh." you japanese and ur japanese manners :D

  • You say sorry for being excited, but that is what makes me enjoy your videos so much, your genuine passion for knives and hunting, Thank you very much for all your nice videos, and showing your knives in real world use.

  • rock on dude! have you seen the new plsk 2 from blind horse? really digging that blade not sure if i should pull the trigger on a plsk 2 or a fox river, how long is the handle on the fox river?.......thanks.

  • @secretsquirrell13 I checked it out now. It is very similar to my Brumby, but the blade thickness seems to be very different. My one is 3.0mm thick. The PLSK2 seems to be 4.5mm thick. But its bevel height looks the same as my Brumby. So it can be a very deep Scandi edge. Something might be wrong with my analysis. Anyways the Fox River has just 4 inch handle scales. Thank you!

  • Now thats a great knife. A style I can appreciate. look forward to hearing your performance review.

  • @knivesandstuff Also Wako, I hope you should take care about statements like O1 is not tough, or etc.. The Heat Treatment of the Company is far more relevant than O1, or L6 or 1095.. Any Steel, even S30V or A2, can perform badly if not heat-treated optimially for the work and grind.

  • @knivesandstuff I keep it in mind. Thank you!
