i dont really understand american football, but it seems a great sport, here in europe were nuts about football(soccer), but nothing like this ever happened i think... and eagles as a lot in comon with my team benfica, we also have an eagle as our symbol hehe go EAGLES!!
his daughter thinks shes better than everybody else.///shes a flat bitch..and nobody likes her at school lol....everybody talks about her.....vince though is a nice guy with a great story ..
OMG I loved this movie!!! So much that I Googled Papale. It gave me chills. So glad you made this interview on U-Tub Pete. I really wanted to see the real deal. Mark Walburge is a hottie. But Mr. Papale you aren't so bad either. Your wife is a lucky lady. Thanks for putting your story out there. I'm a Saints fan, but I will be thinking of you when I see the Eagels playing.
Yo Pete good to see you made it big, my father tells me that you're doing really well, I'm really happy for you. Remember those NE High football days, those were the days bro! You were one tough Italian, I really miss Philly, Your old friend Ron Abrams, keep in touch bro.
Actually he didn't retire in 1978. He spent the entire 1979 season on injured reserve and then retired. The Eagles were gracious enough to IR him in 1979 after he was injured in the preseason so he would have four seasons on the team and thus be able to get his NFL pension.
Hey Vince,I viewed an old 8mm film my dad shot of my 12'9" jump and that old metal crossbar was bent real bad. I think it was 12'7" or 12'8".Your claim to still hold the record is authentically true. Even though I cleared it by 6" ha ha ha ha. See Ya, Tom Bryant
Just saw the preview to "Perfect Effort" about De La Salle's 12 year winning streak. It looks like a pretty inspirational movie. Search for it on youtube or it's website perfecteffort (dot) com

His stats aren't great, but for most of us, that fumble recovery for a TD is enough for a lifetime.

did he quit or retire

he retired in 1978 because of shoulder injury. He was 32 then. He only had one catch in career.
