I used windows movie maker, it comes with most computers and is a nifty lil program ^^

OK, that's what I tried the first time for my stop-motion, but I couldn't figure out how to get the sequence to move fast enough to look like animation.

Tools>Options>Picture duration

There you can set it to the minimum without having to change them manually. Change the setting before inserting your pictures in the timeline. If it still feels slow then publish the movie and import it into a new project then apply the speed up effect ^^
