God I cant help but think the Lexus ISC is simply a girls alternative to the previous Lexus SC, it lacks masculine appeal for being a coupe/convertible and that atrocious rear design makes it look like it has a back soar. I like the IS sedan but the G37 convertible and entire line up as a whole is 100 XX better in design, power & performance. It makes you leave the Lexus feeling uninspired and pointless. Basically the G37 all day every day, Lexus is yesterdays news.

People in the market for a convertible are don't give a rat's ass about how much storage there is when the top's down. We care about how the car looks, performs, and feels. Also, the reason Infiniti doesn't give you a "cheaper" option of a weak engine is that it defeats the point of having a sports car when the thing is slow!

never get the infiniti convertible. I worked in the shop at a dealership and we always had these two guys from corporate whose sole responsibility was to fix and asses why there were SO MANY problems with the retractable top. If you do get a g37s expect problems with the top. Fun car to drive though.

@heartlessvietboy I know this true since I have had my own experiences with Lexus (95' ls400) they do have tough engines, but these cars are in sport luxury segment and they're suppose to be fun as well as reliable, It doesn't seem too impossible if Infiniti achieved its goal with the G37 coupe. Also, for the price range these cars are in, I doubt the owners would mind to spend a few thousands fixing up their car's if something goes wrong.

I have also had my experience with a used 1990 Lexus LS400. The problem with trying to diagnose all the problems in a used car is that there are many variables involved. How many previous owners were there, how they drove, whether there were accidents, whether the car was owned in the Sahara Nevada or NorthEastern Snow region, how it was maintained, ecetera.

@heartlessvietboy I thought this video made it clear, I guess not, Infiniti's goal was to make an all around better sport/luxury against it's competitor's (Lexus, BMW), It seems that they have addressed every aspect of this car in a refined way. Their price range is around $45-$55,000, so if these cars were bought, and not leased, the owner would obviously have a few thousands lying around.

I used to want the Lexus IS250 sedan, now I want the Infiniti G37 sedan. They both start around the same price & the G has much more standard horsepower & it's much roomier & has one more gear in the transmission than the Lexus. The Lexus does 0-60mph in around 8 seconds & the Infiniti does it in 5.5 seconds.

@rnorred86 you cant compare the two cars. The Infiniti has a 3.7 liter V6 where as the Lexus IS250 is only a 2.5 Liter V6. If you are to compare two cars it needs to be the IS350 thats a 3.5 Liter V6 with 306 HP and a 0-60 of 5.6 sec.

@vangyang792 You just proved my point. 2.6 to a 3.0 is a difference of 0.4 L, the cars they are comparing differ 1.2 L, obviously the infinity will be faster and better. If they compare the IS350 then you are comparing a 3.5 to a 3.7 the difference is only 0.2 L.
