I'm no eisnetain, i'm far from it. The first beam was nothing, its the colliding beams at full power that CERN and other scientists mentione the certain possibilities.

October 21st is the planned date, but it could change so anywhere from 6-8 weeks.
They have to shut the LHC down for the winter during November, so definitely before December.
