If there is a time machine, I will use it to go back to 2008, and go to WYD 08 again.. because I was so so so so happy during that week. I cannot forget this, and I will not forget this even I get older like 90 years old. I'm not sure I can come to this WYD 2011, but maybe next one, I and my people, hopefully can make it happen again as 2008 one. Thank you World Youth Day!!!! ^^.

@TheNemanja20 Correct. CHRISTIANS wrote the Bible. And the CATHOLIC CHURCH compiled it over the centuries of trying to figure out what in the flood of spiritual texts was canonical and what wasn't. The canon wasn't officially closed until the Council of Trent in the 1500s, true, but 1200 years before that most Christian authorities had agreed upon the canon that the Eastern and Roman Catholic Churches use. And for good reason - heretics had their own canons they used to spread heresy.

Why do Englishmen bow before the Queen - even if they are atheists? Because they respect her. So we bow before the Pope - because we respect him. I HATED hearing this song after WYD, and it was ALWAYS played around me.
I hated it because it makes me reminisce about the week that it has been. And it makes me feel sad because WYD Week gave us a taste of a peaceful world filled with love and hope. Something that is not real in society today, and it DID suck a lot to be going back to the "real world".

i am proud to be a Catholic.. i truly believe that Pope Benedict XVI is a wonderful person. The late Pope John Paul II did not accept Cardinal Ratzinger's resignation for some unknown reasons.. but now I know that Pope John Paul only wanted to leave the Church to a person he trusts the most, in this case, it was Cardinal Ratzinger.

We have one life and when we die we go back to how we were before we were born (it wasn't too scary back then, was it?). It's VERY improbable that we would ever be born in the first place and now that we find ourselves here it'd be FAR more noble (and stimulating) to spend that time understanding the world as explained through evidence based science.

I HATED hearing this song after WYD, and it was ALWAYS played around me.
I hated it because it makes me reminisce about the week that it has been. And it makes me feel sad because WYD Week gave us a taste of a peaceful world filled with love and hope. Something that is not real in society today, and it DID suck a lot to be going back to the "real world".
WYD lead to me and a friend into organising a Social Justice Group in our school, achieving great things.
WYD was just.. amazing.

@donovanrules123123 why R U surprised its from Guy? I first got it in 2007 and its always been said it was by Guy. Theres a couple of utubes about how it came to be written, where Guy and Gary and Paulini talk about it. Guy writes a ton of stuff thats not on HIS albums & he was approached to have a go, when they werent quite happy & it was getting close. In fact he had to cut his APO concert tour short because of it
