  • Lovely -great song too.

  • His voice is so powerful.

There is something about his singing voice that just does it for me. I really what this album to happen already so I can listen to him all of the time.

  • Sheet Music is available now! It is in a book called: Listen to My Heart - The Songs of David Friedman. Amazon & others have it.

  • awesome song I wish I had the sheet music

  • lol jus buy the big David Friedman book playa...i got it....its a good buy

  • this song lines up pretty well with my life right now.... very nice :)

  • He is so freaking cute!

    My favorite phantom forever. <3

  • Was this song written for him? It's such a lovely song.

  • I saw him as the Phantom in 2005. He was pretty good.

  • Is this song from Lestat?

  • No, it was written by David Friedman. Hugh recorded it for the album, "Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms" which was released a few years ago.

  • Hello guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this album Hugh is supposed to be recording?

  • He's promised me an update for his site, but didn't say exactly when that'll be. For the most part, I know what the update is about. However, I can't post about it until he gives me permission.

  • Cool, fair enough. You couldn't keep me posted could you when you are aloud to say?

    Thaks.

  • Any updates yet that you're allowed to divulge?

  • Hugh brought this up a few nights ago when I saw him. He's no longer with Sony and is looking into a new label to record with.

  • Thanks for letting me know.

Please let me know which label he goes with.

  • Okay, does ANYONE know where to get the sheet music for this?!?

  • The only source I'm aware of is David Friedman's company Midder Music. There's a link to their site on the FAQ page at Hugh's site, hugh-panaro(dot)net

  • Is this song from anything? I love it!

  • Not from a show. Hugh did a recording of it for the "Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms" CD several years ago. It's by David Friedman - a terrific songwriter and one of Hugh's friends.

  • I don't think anyone sings this song better than Hugh. He doesn't sound sick at all here :).

  • And, on LimeWire, the ones they have there are stupid advertising for some website that they titled "Already There Hugh Panaro"

    And that's just cruel.

  • A lot of the Limewire files labeled with Hugh's name are nothing but ad sites or porn files.

  • If anybody has the cd, could you put the song on YouTube? I love it sooo much, and the quality on this vid makes it sound all funny...

    No offense.

  • There used to be a fan video with images from the movie uploaded here. But it's gone. The CD version is one Hugh's MySpace profile, though. He was sick when he did this concert, so his voice is a bit off.

  • Yeah, I saw it got taken off for violation or something. What did it violate?

And thanks, I'll check out the MySpace profile!

  • I think iheavlog was referring to the buzzy interference that can be heard that youtube commonly adds when uploaded.

  • I loved this song SO much on the Broadway Phantoms CD it was awesome to see him perform it in this video. Thanks for posting!

  • ohh i love this song

hughpanaro is such a wonderful singer<33

  • Oh my God, Paula, I just melted.

Would you mind terribly sending someone to mop up the puddle?

  • I am so in love with this song and of course with hugh as well.

    Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

  • this song makes me cry, in a good way, every time i hear it!

  • Oh, this so amazing!

  • Ha! I know you! Funny, I just decided to watch this myself as you posted!

  • Paula, do you have any idea where I could find the music for this song?

  • If you check the Links page of Hugh's site - hugh-panaro(dot)net - and look for the link to David's Friedman/Midder Music, you might be able to get it through them.

  • I've never heard of this song before and Hugh sings it BEAUTIFULLY! He's such a nice guy in person! I remember him from Martin Guerre and loved him in this show. My friend introduced me to me as he was a castmate of Hugh's in MG. I thought I'd turn into a pile of goo in front of him that night. lol

  • OMG, this man is my inspiration. does anyone know where this song is from?

  • The song was written by David Friedman and Hugh recorded a beautiful version for the "Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms" CD a couple of years ago. There is a link to David's site (Midder Music) on Hugh's site.

  • I've lost count of how many times his voice has made me cry, including this song. And that's rare for me. And you're very welcome!

  • The best. I'm actually crying, and I think Hugh's the first person to make me cry when I hear them sing. Love him. He's so adorable!

Thanks for sharing all of this stuff, Paula!

  • he's my hero.

  • You and me both buddy.

  • This song is so beautiful.:) He has such a sweet tone and puts such emotion in his voice. . . not to mention he's sexy beyond belief!:)

  • ^^ Damn it, he's SO sweet!!!

  • The only qualm I have with his voice is his "neyh neyh" quality. It's very whiny at times which, I find unattractive as a classical singer. His Music of the Night is unmatched compared to most though. Great performer.

  • the man is perfect. I tear up every time I hear him sing... especially this song... it is basically written for me lol

  • I just wanna saaaaay... does anyone else tear up when he sings? T_T

  • Oh, you are definitely not the only one. On the "Music of the Night" video from the same concert, you can hear quie a few people at my table in tears.

  • That's a beautiful rendition af a really sweet song, by and even cuter guy! I haven't heard a better voice in a looong time. *hugs*

And he's got a killer smile.

  • he has amazing voice he's so cutee!

  • I love this song, but I hate him as Phantom. He was the first Phantom experience I had live on Broadway, and he ruined it for me. I was hoping for a deep baritone like voice... not a "girlish" tonality. He's amazing by all means, but I'm not a fan of his when he is Phantom.

  • You do have to admit, wowyourgaiy, he does have a nicely trained voice. It may be, as quoted "girly" to you, but there are tons of other fans that love his tenor voice. I suppose everyone does have their own opinion.

  • ...wow, such a great song, such a great singer =)

I love Hugh since I heared his voice at first time and I have to say, I felt in love with it.

My only wish is to conatct him, btw to meet him but I think it will be impossible...

May he comes to Germany one day, I will be the first who sits in train to him ;)

  • aww. he's adorable as ever!!! I've listened to this 100,000,00 times! eee I just love his voice!

  • *big heart eyes* im in love! -faints-

  • He looks so sweet!! And I shant's even begin to swoon over how lovely he sounds...

  • Your absolutely right. They are rehearsing White Christmas and my daughter is in the 5th Ave. high school choir and heard him singing. She also met him and says he is so incredibly nice. We saw him about 5 years ago in Marin Guerre and he was fabulous He laughed when my daughter told him that. He thought she must have been a little girl waaayyy back then. Thanks for the correction

  • Hugh told me they'd had some school groups visiting the show and I got the feeling he really enjoyed that since he was about 13 when he started working in theater. I'm glad your daughter had a chance to meet him - he's a genuinely sweet person. He said the same thing to me once when I said I'd seen him in "Les Miserables" half a lifetime ago.

  • Hugh is wonderful in this video. He is currently in White Christmas in Seattle and I hear he sounds wonderful. Check it out if you can.

  • He's in "Company" out in Seattle, not "White Christmas." I flew out to see him last week. The show was great and Hugh was just fantastic - he deserves the good reviews he's gotten for it.

  • PhantomfanMD that's what I thought also if it was from a broadway show. lets ask paula. maybe she'll know. Paula is this from a broadway show?

  • It's not from a show. It's by David Friedman, a songwriter Hugh knows and really admirers. David also wrote the "Rich, Famous & Powerful" song I have posted here and "Help Is On The Way," a duet Hugh recorded with his former Phantom co-star, Anne Runolfsson for the 2005 Broadway Cares album, "Carols For A Cure."

  • who wrote this song? Is it part of a broadway show?

  • It's by David Friedman. It's not from a show, but Hugh did an absolutely wonderful recording of it on the CD, "Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms."

  • wow...beautiful song

  • He does sing it sweetly; especially enjoyed him having to look at the music!

  • i KNOW i can get it on broadways' fabulous Phantoms I just cheacked Itunes and they don't have it. they have other people singning it but not HIM! AHHHH. he's adorable and cute and mostly hot

  • One word: Amazon. If iTunes doesn't have it, Amazon probably does.

  • This song is wonderful...and Hugh too of course *sigh*

  • I'm upset because they didn't have it @ barnes and noble! ;(. I'm not happy. I wanted to listen to this song over and over again. Maybe they'll have it at Tower Records.

  • Rainbowspotter, you can get Hugh singing this song on "Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms". I bought my CD on Ebay for .01 plus $3.79 shipping.

  • This is so incredibly perfect.

  • Gorgeous. I love this song so much.

  • i love this song thanks for uploadind the vid
