  • Wow, all these dumb Rupubs talkin down Obama. Try going to a private college and actually LEARNING something. And the vast majority of those who compare Obama to Bush had their head up Bush's butt during his administration.

  • nothing wrong with my william and mary education...whats wrong with public colleges?

  • Having rules does not go against free market. Universities have rule, your father have rules in your home, you have rules in school, even banks have rules for their employees.

Do you really think that a nation to have rule for their financial system is wrong and counterproductive?

Let me ask you this, are you sure you have a brain?

How many hours of tv do you watch a day?

How many books did you read last year?

  • Youre full of shit, Obama. This crisis is your dream shot at socialism come true.

The biggest joke of all: instead of redistributing the wealth to the have-nots, you gave it to BIG CAMPAIGN DONORS--Citi & Bank of America. You redistributed it into other fat-cat wallets!

LOL Jokes on you America; for even believing that you deserve something you did not EARN.

Obama, you're the biggest American FRAUD in history. Barney Frank's govt sub-prime FRAUD is OBVIOUS now. TRUTH UP.

  • End the FED and then we will believe you.

  • A "common sense regulation" should be considered the Glass Steagall act of 1933. This very act was made to stop banks from making the same mistakes as today.

Unfortunately, this act was repealed in 1999, thus allowing the banks to do the SAME things that led to the depression.

Please bring back the Glass-Steagall act first, THEN discuss what other regulations are needed, in specific line-by-line terms a 6 year old could understand.

  • WoW, Hussein is so smart !

  • It is indeed understandable that people should be scared about the matters that are in hand. But, we should look at what he is really trying to say, remember he is just the president, but we are the people. And we have to do something about it, to pull ourselves out of the problem. You can't just sit back and ride it out. It never does work like that. Great nations fall only and only if the people allow it. That is all I have to say.

  • sry president i dont understand bs. try again

  • thanks for posting.

  • Bush/Obama Bailouts for Wall Street = 100% unconstitutional actions.

  • wanabee2w did you intentionally leave leave out the biggest lie in the speech?

Obama said "I have always been a strong believer in the power of the free market."

Why did you edit this line out?

  • not intentionally, had to switch

  • No worries, thanks for posting.

  • Go back to your cave, dude!

You are history! This is the future!

  • thanks for posting so fast. I missed the speech earlier.

  • please sub

  • Obama is TOO SMART for the Redneck of America!! They hate him, because he is simply progressive and different!!

  • Obama = more George Bush's Policies from the FISA, the Unpatriot Act, Bailouts for Wall Street, Increasing War Funding and increasing Troop levels that Obama supports Levels are the farthest thing from progressive. I supose you believe His renewal of GW Bush's faith based initiatives allowing DC to determine social matters are progressive too? -- You are a Regressive joke enslaving people to their government -- that is truly REGRESSIVE

Obama = more Regressive Bush which is no change at all.
