  • I never found out her full ethnicity except for just knowing eurasian. I guess euro chinese or japanese?

  • @inachu She is Icelandic.

  • @amusedbygod duhhh that is a political association not genetic.....duhh

  • @inachu Well maybe you should better phrase your point/s, question/s, genius.

  • @inachu She has no Asian background in her. She's Icelandic.

  • it would be awesome if she held the interview on the stage right ´before the song

  • @91Tribual oh wait...it is

  • She can bare my children.

  • I love her accent! <3

  • LOL her accent is different in every interview i hear.I swear she looks like Amy lee sometimes, both are gorgeous nom nom nom

  • @Kharn526 It's because she travels a lot, mainly in London, America, Spain, and of course, Iceland.

  • What is the name of the Japanese film she is speaking of?

  • @NISHOYINGWENMA Onibaba

  • @LiberalPonder Thankyou.

  • @NISHOYINGWENMA No problem. :)

  • she is an artist through and through

  • is she eskimo?

  • Comment removed

  • @Musmon her great grandparents were :)

  • @UdaPrudaPanda eh noooooooooooo, they were not

she's icelandic, escimos or inuites as they are called today are from Greenland and northwest of Canada!

  • @IsobelBjork yes, i'm aware of that - but still her great grandparents were eskimoes! that's why she looks a bit different from other icelandic people. plus she was teased with her different look in school :(

  • @UdaPrudaPanda No they were not... where did you get that information?????

I'm Icelandic myself and I think i would know if she wasn't, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @IsobelBjork well I got the information from a biography (called "BjörkMusik"), which I read recently.. that's why I assume it's the correct info I'm giving.. had to read the chapter once more, when I saw your disagreeing comment, but that is truely what my book says. (??)

  • @UdaPrudaPanda

Google björk inuit faq and press the link on the top. That link is also disagreeing with you.

I know many icelanders that look a bit inuit, theyre all fully Icelandic though!

  • @Musmon she is Icelandic

  • I like pop art, but what she says about it isss true.

  • the scenery of these songs are all internal... love you bjork

  • She is sweet.

  • She is so amazing in so many ways. She can look so very different and play her songs in so many unique ways. I just love her!

  • Damn i wanna see her live!

  • she is beautiful her accent is beautiful and vespertine is my favourite album what's not to love about Bjork!? she's simply a amazing

  • Bjork is my hero

  • wow!its just how i feel that album....im glad...

  • i love her accent. its beautiful.

  • Tis is music no shit like jonas brother

  • @KIRA316619 No shit Sherlock.

  • @KIRA316619 The jonas brothers is pure art. I'm sure they could talk about their songs in as much depth as Bjork. ....................NOOOOOOOOOT :)

  • @KIRA316619 jonas brothers is music?

  • I love her accent also. This video of Unravel is wonderful. Very passionate.

  • santiheladero: And your point is?

  • pseudonym1964: leave him alone n don't find his point.

  • chikosushi: And what is it to you? Fucker.

  • Wtf her english is lovely I dont get these retards

  • I know. Just a bunch of insecure ass holes. I would like to hear their Icelandic.

Anyway. Amazing song... but the little people come to this page to comment on who speaks better English!

  • that my english is better than her´s

  • i'm willing to bet she'd know it's "hers," not "her's"

  • Lol you know dam well that he was just too lazy to put the ' like everyone on the internet

  • so now english is a criteria for a great artist ?

  • Onibaba, good movie! So funny, we share the same passion for Nihon films.

    I heart Björk.

  • i love her accent

    its so cool

  • It.. shee is nervous?? :D ajaj dont marre Bjork!

You are soo sweet and cooL XD

  • I agree with her the pop culture is all about themselves and they stop caring about the world and people in it.

  • я тебя люблю!!!!!!!!!

  • does anybody know what she is saying in the beginning of the song? i'm guessing she's speaking icelandic?

    thnx.

  • It's english, man!!

At the start she says "After i done the album" and stuff.

  • @MicroBrainy: LOL, jeremy is asking about the beginning of the song, not the beginning of the video.

@jeremyscott07: it's gibberish, a language of her own, made up words. She does that very often.

  • absolutely brilliant. i LOVE unravel, but for the life of me, can't see a devil in that big swinging thing in the official video.

  • thankyou so much for uploading this, i had never seen this interview and this recording of unravel is beautiful!

    ♥ annina

(random number loving: this video has been viewed 13,333 times right now, cool.)

  • Lol 13333 ^^

I love bjorks music especially this one

  • I agree with Jink, I think it's a sense of respect that we do not see too often. She is so thoughtful and inspiring....

  • are all Iceland-girls this good looking? if so, I'll leave sweden now

  • Unravel. From Homogenic.

  • What song does she sing here? Title?

  • Unravel

  • love her to bits.

  • The way her face changes at 2:23 (after "I don't know why") is priceless!

  • Yes, she looked like an infant or something for a split second.

  • 1st time I see her nervous, hhmmm, now that I think about it Will Smith was very nervous too when he went to Japan after 'The pursuit of happiness', maybe Japanese ppl makes other ppl nervous as in a sense of respect.

I'm no Japanese btw, but I sure respect them too.

  • Wery beautiful!!! <3 Love u Miss B

  • jeez, i love listening to her speak

  • She doesn't quite understand Andy Warhol. Much of his art was a criticism of mass produced items. But I still like Björk.

  • I was never really a big fan of Warhol's Art, but he was a very intelligent man and he gets extra points for using the Amiga Computer for some of his Art :)

  • But thats just a generalization. He never shared his opinion, as to whether he wanted to stress the high gloss of manufacturing and plasticity, or whether he wanted to despised it. And besides, Björk admits to being one whose opinions aren't very educated. I think her and Matthew must of discussed pop art and Andy Warhol before. She probably has the know-how to have her own interpretation of his work. His pieces are pretty blank.

  • That was really beautiful.

  • shes awesome !

  • LOVE YOU B!

  • estoy de acuerdo, muy fragil , intovertida, delicada muy interna. lo disfrute y lo disfrutare . Vespertine

  • thanks for putting this, i really enjoyed!

  • She's just beautiful. Esta es la etapa que más me gusta de bjork, tan frágil... demasiado femenina... madura. Génial!
