Also if you listen to him at the 1:02 mark you can hear him say off mike "bring that bass up" so I'm guessing by the time he gets a little farther into the song and still can't hear the bass, the next time at 1:44 it's "bring that bass up god dammit!" because at that point in the song they are all climbing up the scale to the finally of the song.

If you watch him he gives J D a look like I can't hear you and kind of shrugs then he says bring that bass up God ( and then pulls the mike away) for the dammit part so all you hear him say is God. Watch it again and look and listen.

I'm Black and I think Elvis Presley did the best live version of the song ever,Ike & Tina Turner did the best R&B studio version of the song ever,and Creedence Clearwater Revival did the best Rock studio/live version of the song ever.
