Freeform can't do symmetry in real-time? You have to individually clone over everything you want to be symmetrical? That seems like it'd be a pain. :-(
Dude i have seen cats on here do this in Zbrush with textures and way more complexity in half the time he made this thing. This program is still a beast though - it is still a CAD app i guess...you could cut this out with a CNC router.
looks pretty good...similar to zbrush but more expensive i think seeing as you have a forcefeedback pen to use with it and there's options to lease it!
think i'll stick with zbrush myself..but it's a nice app all the same.
hi there!well could you tell me,how could i download this softwar...i'm studying medicin, and i'm kind of using it...so plz may u tell me how todownload it..and thank you.

Thats Freeform from Sensable software.
You need the haptic arm to use it and the cheapest set up is over $10,000. (i recently saw itfor about £6000)
I used to use it myself about 6 years ago.

...how did you manage to aford that!?
Merc399 3 years ago
I didn't, The company I used to work for were one of the first in Europe to get it. we helped out on the beta teasting on it
Caitlindevi 3 years ago
Do i really NEED a haptic arm for this? or will any mouse or tablet do?
Vikinatorn 2 years ago
Yes, without the arm you get no feedback and can't move in three dimentions.
Plus the software doesn't run without the arm.
If you want a version that works without the arm try ZBrush
Caitlindevi 2 years ago
It cant cost that much! it's max price is about 1000$ maybe lower!
vladikus10 2 years ago
The software itself might only be that price but you can't run it without the arm and that is most certainly over $1000

how software You use?
I think is good program!
wKlaudiusz 4 years ago
The software is driven by a pen-liek device on a small armature, called a Phantom.
Glad you like the look of it, the first time people see it "live" is usually a jaw-dropping moment!
