  • I Like Myself Now

  • I'm sorry, buy I hated this movie. My mom said it was the scariest movie shed ever seen and that it gives her nightmares to this day, so I was a more than a little dissapionted by this cute cheesy horror flick

  • Now those are some worthwhile horror flicks, better than trash like the SAW & Final Destination movies.

  • For some reason, I find the 70s horror movies more disturbing...I don't know why.

  • @Aquarius01271992 No doubt.

  • The animal kingdom shall rule in the end!

  • This movie is just WAY cool!

  • Saw Willard at one of my first visits to an inside movie theatre. Never saw Ben but remember the Michael Jackson song. Willard rocks! TEAR EM UP!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like them both,early 1970"S

  • I liked this version.

  • "Ben" the song of Michael Jackson, is the song of this movie !!

  • Tear 'em up!!!

  • @Harbetman " Willard U BASTARD!!!"

  • They REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to hurry the hell up and relase both films on blu-ray and dvd!!!!!

  • Children of the horned Rat

  • 'Willard' was such a great drama/comedy which developed into the most scraiest movie I've ever seen. "Ben" was also scary, but had a lot of really beutiful themes in it. The 2003 remake of "Willard" was possibly the greatest remake of any film, to be equally as good, but not better, as the original. The trailers certainly are very good, thanks for uploading!

  • STRANGE FILM.

  • I saw the remake of Willard and it was okay. I wanna see the original. I'm dying to see Ben too Dvd's coming soon?

  • When are these movies coming out on DVD?!!! I've been waiting for a loooong looong time!

  • that rat squeaking noise is really offputting for rat owners because they only make noise if they are in pain

  • @opalshuman I agree .. about the offputting 'squeaking noise'. My ratties make those squeals when they are fighting or in pain haha. Ben is soooo adorable, I love the close-ups of his face in this preview :)

  • @opalshuman I agree; my happy rats chatter and grind their teeth! A sqeak is only for fear or pain...

  • WHAT-THE-HELL?

  • Bruce Davison is a pretty good actor. His talents were wasted on X-Men though.

  • who's better crispin or the original actor?

  • Oh man! I remember these movies! They would show them on TV in the 80's. We moved into this house and it had rats around the time I saw these. Freaked me out! I found a dead rat in my box of Rice Krispies for crying out loud! We moved so fast we forgot my new bike. What a nightmare. Crazy movies too!

  • lol

  • The famous french philosopher Gilles Deleuze wrote a brief commentary on this film in Anti-Oedipus: 1,000 Plateaus. It begins the chapter "1730: Becoming-Intense, Becoming-Animal, Becoming-Imperceptible..."

  • all this time i thought this was a family movie lol...i only heard of it from listening to michael jacksons song titled "ben"

  • I uploaded Willard for anybody interested.

  • to 1971Willard---------- i just watched "Willard" that you have on your channel. it was great. i don't know whether i had ever seen the whole movie before. at my place, rats live in my yard. sometimes i give them cat food, and i made a couple of videos of the rats. now that my cat is dead, the rats seem more willing to come out in daylight.

  • Somebody should put the song Ben into the trailer some how

  • what is the preview voice over guy's name???

  • Adolf Caesar. He played Sgt. Waters in the film SOLDIER'S STORY and he was in the films THE COLOR PURPLE and CLUB PARADISE. He died in the late 1980's.

  • oh ok thanks!!

  • Wow, that movie was so scary in it's time especially in NY where the Rats are sooo big, now it seems like a silly horror film like the one about the alligators in the sewer. But Micheal Jackson sang a song about the rat Ben, it seems so crazy now.

  • "Willard" was a lot scarier than "Ben" in my opinion.

  • ben (mj) made a song in that movie

  • any idea of where I can get a copy of theese on dvd? I loved both theese movies

  • Okay, I blame this movie for my terrible phobia of rats. I remember seeing this film as a real young kid one day on television around halloween I believe ,under granny's supervision, and it gave me this reoccuring nightmare of being eaten alive by rats! Our summer cabin in Colorado is like a haunted house to me because of it being home to at least one rat each visit. Good movie though, creative and original plot and obviously very effective. I'd like to read the book, "The Ratman's Notebooks."

  • in the movie "1984", a government agent tried to get someone to say something, and thus the government agent set a cage with rat(s) next to the person, and the government agent threatened to release the rat(s) onto the person. i have rats roaming around my yard. sometimes they come in the house. i use the name "ratty" as a nickname for any rat i find. i think i'll start using the name "ben" or "socrates".

  • muy buenos trailers de pelikulas, desde estas pelikulas antiguas hasta la nueva version, EXCELENTES PELIKULAS

  • I wanna see both of these, I love old scary movies

  • willard looks so much more scariier. watch 1:13

  • this movie started the ''when animals attacks'' craze in the 1970s.

  • Was trying to rent the original Willard ((971) and Ben (1972) from NetFlix. They only have the remake of Willard (2003) but your posting here should surfice in terms of catching up.

    Thanks a million!

  • My Dad took me to the drive-in to see Willard. Good flick!

  • Why these two movies haven't been released on DVD, I'll never know. Good job.

  • That 'You made me hate myself quote.' I love it. They used it in the remake, I recall

  • I never saw Willard, but I saw Ben as a kid and I found it very sad. I always remembered that movie.

  • God I'd love to see this since I've watched the remake a million times and love it...

  • my copy of the actual movie has better picture quality than the trailers.

  • I saw Willard and Ben when I was 7 and will never forget it. Michael Jackson's song BEN was a hit.Golden Globe Winner for Best Original Song Walter Scharf (music)

Don Black (lyrics)For the song "Ben".

  • where can I find these movies?

  • aw! the rats are so cute. I find it so funny that rats in movies are supposed to be 'scary' and 'gross', because I can't help but go "aw!" whenever I see a rat in a movie.

  • In a strange way i like this movie

  • is it true MJ song Ben is about this movie?

honestly is seems kinda scary in a creepy way, probably because of my phobia with rats

aftre watching just the trailer I feel all antsy and uncomfortable

I don't think I could handle the movie lol

  • Anyone remember 'Stanley'? It was a rip-off of these two movies, but it was a pet rattlesnake!

  • sondra locke????

  • So was this a double feature?

  • no - just the way it was arranged on a old vhs tape back in the day. - Im sure it was a double feature .. somewhere.

  • Snake food!

Sure wish they'd show this more on Chiller or some other channel, it's a classic that does not get enough airplay. I like the original much better. I've seen it sell on ebay for over 50$ for the two VHS used tape set!

  • this actor sucks compared to glover

  • This actor plays Glover's father in the remake!

  • Bruce Davidson was cute.

  • can someone post the whole movie from 1971 somewhere? i need this movie

  • @TruthSearcher4ever BOTH MOVIES ARE AVAILABLE ON TRACKER3.

  • @TruthSearcher4ever if you can afford to own a computer and an internet connection, then you can afford to spend a lousy five dollars for a movie you need, then you can accord to respect the motion picture industry, the people who work on the films you enjoy, the people who pend hundreds and thousands or millions of their own hard earned money to invest in what they love.

    Respect.

You dont "need" this movie - you "want" this movie.

  • Thanks for posting this. I saw the "Willard" trailer a long time ago, and while I still think the music is a bit cheesy, it's a really good trailer...and it flows seamlessly into the "Ben" trailer. Hard to believe that that song was written for this movie.

One would think that the (underrated, IMO) remake would've spurred a DVD release of the original.

  • Our local video store was getting rid of their VHS tapes and had them all for sale, including these two. I snatched them up promptly.

  • LOL, Ben and his army of rats are cute! I laughed my ass off!

  • willard sounds like james dean

  • THANK YOU! I loved this movie as a kid and wish I had it! I thought I lost the trailer

after some guy deleted it but you put this up!

    Domo Origato! (I'm an Otaku!)Hee,hee!
