Yes but the one door nobody is addressing is the esophagus its a total focus for starting a-fib, now who is going to isolate this open door, or french horn?
They say that a-fib starts in the pulmonary veins but why is it that 99% of anyone who has a-fib go into it, after drinking a ice cold coke! I will tell you why, its because also us people with a-fib have what i like to describe as fibromyalgia of the esophagus cardiac sphincter area, i can tell before i go into a-fib, just because how sensitive my throat and esophagus feels and how painful cold things feel when drinking them, and when i lay down, it throbs so? you guess?
Better to be done than late . 95% its safe and 5% risk is there .. i need to have this EP within 10 days and its in 2d mapping. i found another hospital with 3d facility's
Wow my doc recommended this but Im getting the goosebumps just looking at the way they force those wires into your body I want to pass this but I dont like meds either!!!
guys i had this done in june of 2000 when i was only 19 years old .
today i am 30 years old.. for the past week i been having some hard beats, like a delayed beat that hits hard. i am going to my cardiologist soon. i would do the EPS and ablation again .. even though it's not as fun as these people say it is. but its worth it because it does really work.
before the ablation i used to get rapid heart beats. since the ablation in 2000, i never got a single rapid heartbeat. so it works. god bless!
OMG I haven't found courage to watch the entire video ,I'm so scared, I'm gonna have this procedure in few months! Anyway its necessary I have tachycardia all freaking day :(
@zarzanga its nothing to worry about !! its 95% safe !! its a simple procedure !!! ,,just be pleased your not having open heart surgery !! that really knocks the crap out of you !!
had ablation for svt a month ago, pretty good now except for the constant inappropriate sinus tach at about 90 - 100 bpm (before ablation norm at 60 and lower in morning) and minor pains here and there in the chest.
However the trouble spot was right next no sa node so they ablated very carefully and the end result is not very surten allthough its good at the moment.
hoping the sinus tach is caused by irritation to some nerv near the sa node and will recover soon.
I had this done five days ago, I couldn't remember a thing! Yes, I had an irregular heartbeat, and afterwards, my heart's been beating at a beautiful, normal pace!
I was awake the whole time, and remember everything about the procedure. I would consider it to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
I had little pain whilst ablating (similar to heart burn). I felt great immediately after the operation. Groin is almost healed & feel better than i could of ever imagined. I no longer feel my heart thumping & feel like I did 10 years ago before this whole thing started. I would DEFINITELY recommend it :)
@jessikerrkerr im sapposed too get it done in 3 days.. im really ascared and i think i will abort it... ive heard storys and theres even a book on how this is very dangerous :( ive had arrythmia for 7 years now, and i really wanna commit suicide... REALLY,im 20 years old, its ruined my entire life..
@ExileCU Don't do anything rash! Why do the doctors want to perform an ablation? Do you have SVT, or atrial fibrilation? The procedure is very safe compared to most surgeries and is often very successful.
I just had this procedure done for AV nodal reentrant tachycardia just four days ago. It went GREAT and I had no pain during the procedure OR after. So happy I did it !!
