  • I always remeber this ppv because this was actually the first wwe ppv i saw and of course it was the debut of the deadman, not a very good ppv in my opinion the only thing about was the undertaker.

  • This was the BEST Survivor Series concept of all, as they had a grand finals match containing the survivors of all the other matches. To survive at the end is a huge accomplishment. Awesome!!

  • remember these good old days.

  • Wow this is a classic. They should do this every year

  • 0:13 Flying Jalapeno!!!

  • "That was an upset, That was an upset"

  • @08:34....warrior punches slick.......warrior:"FUCK OUTTA HERE"....LOL

  • HOTROD FTW!

  • No one can do the face first fall like Ric Flair WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • roddy piper doesnt care who wins then why should the people watching piper better wrestler than commentator

  • Dibiase did a Flair flop!

  • They were both trying to let each other leave first so the one who stays behind can stand around and pose. What a couple of egomaniacs.

  • ridiculous how fast hogan got up from power and glorys finisher. even worse then he gets roma out with just a clothesline! typical hogan. did the same thing at royal rumble 90 with mr. perfect's finisher.

  • No one could perform a suplex like Dibiase....

  • @NWpowerhouse85 davey boy had a heck of a suplex...and taz was the human suplex machine...LOL but i feel what ya' sayin'

  • I can't believe they made The Model Rick Martel walk away like that. I know he was a heel and all but they should have made Hogan bring him back to the ring for the pin. This guy was a former AWA champion for Christ sake!

  • I'm surprised Martel didn't get in the ring with Santana as a brief rekindle of their feud from a year earlier.

  • Akuma4you, you are right about Dibiase. I would throw Jake and Honkey in that group as well.....

  • Holy moly! That was when wrestling was still new to me. I only starting watching the WWF a little prior to WrestleMania VI. I had completely forgotten about this match. Thanks for posting.

  • why did they beat up slick he just came in the ring to see how hes wrestler is doing

  • great quality

  • OMG, DICK CAM AT THE VERY END~! 0.o

  • the greatest tagteam ever!

  • hulk hogan & ultimate warrior is the best team ever

  • can't believe they let Hercules be the last man, normally he gets out quickly.

Also a very nice ending....wasn't too long that Warrior would have the title...less than a year

  • LOL, I love how Hogan took a beating and then PAG did their move and he just got up......Hogan is a superhero!!!!

Man this is what wrestling was all about...and I loved every minute of it

  • wow quite a few blown spots...I love how herc scooted himself to the center of the ring

  • Only year they did a final they should have done it every year

  • Paul Roma - pure jobber.

  • great vid love both of these guys

  • The Golden Age of professional wrestling

  • 05:25

  • want to see this match today it is the true Survivor Series

  • paul roma looks like chris masters

  • man dibiase is the only one to never have used juice..

  • I don't think that Tito Santana "juiced."

  • youre prob right, he doesnt seem to have that kind of attitude, but then again who knows everyone did it back then,. maybe he tried some to test it out who knows,..

  • Warrior as #1 just never worked.

  • Hulk and Warrior Rock.

  • ted had 2 matches? takers debut and this?

  • yes. for everybody here, this is the second match on the SS

  • wow thanx

  • the winning heels and the winning faces from the previous matches fight here in a final match against each other.

this was the first and last time they did this during a SS

  • ok ok

  • I'd love to see this match design return. Unfortunately, WWE most likely won't bring this back.

  • @UltimateWarriorFan : Unfortunately.......

  • imagine the late 90's havin a survivor series like these old ones. what would it look like?

The rattlesnakes vs the hart foundation

    the degenarates vs the corporation

    lmao

  • guys we're all wrestling fans here..I just watched this video and remember renting the vhs and seeing all the matches...haha of course this wasn't hogan's OR the Warrior's best match, but for those of us who are wwe fans today how crazy is it that the match can end so randomly...not always their signature move or something huge haha and how even in an elimination match, the whole good guys vs bad guys worked out the way it did.

    let's just appreciate the match.

    I'm baked right now haha

  • cover of the february 1991 wwf magazine here...easily one of the best survivor series in terms of matchups...

  • lol @ 5:20 - 5:34

  • @Redrum4409

    what a moveset!

  • I'm a huge fan of Hogan.. but he looked bad in this match.. and Warrior? he looked high..

  • "Tito was coming fast" 1:31

  • Does anybody remember how the WWE explained why these teams ended up like this? Obviously I know that one team's the surviving faces and the other surviving heels but how did they explain who ended up on which team without breaking kayfabe? I mean its not like they could come out and say "All the faces will be on this team and all the heels will be on his team?"

  • I was wondering that myself...this also seemed like an after thought, like they had to rush through it to hold the fans' attention because this match was confusing and unexpected anyway.

  • Paul Roma goes down as the first wrestler I can remember to be pinned after a Hogan clothesline.

  • yeah I was wondering about that, too... today even santino marella would kick out of that after 1 or 2 !!! ^^

  • Looking back, I think that was an Axe Bomber. Hogan, pulling some Japanese you-know-what on Roma.

  • how come there only starting with three on warriors team?

  • this is the final match of the survivor series 1990. they put together all survivors from the matches before in two teams. so they fight 3 vs 5, surviving heels vs surviving faces

  • I know you're a Warrior fan but still......not once were Warrior and Hogan ever in trouble and they were against FOUR GUYS..lol

  • Hogan, Warrior and Santana were the sole survivors of their teams. DiBiase was also a sole survivor. Martel's entire team of "Visionaries" (Warlord, Hercules Hernandez and Paul Roma) comprises the other four heels.

  • who else misses the old school survivor series style matches. I stoped watching thse ppv after they changed away from this style of matches.

  • HAhahah Coollllll..

  • Is it me or Tito Santana just did NOT BELONG with Warrior & Hogan. Even sayyyy, Animal or Hawk would have fit in, even Hercules.

  • The best tag-team I have ever seen for the 20-years that I have been watching wrestling (for fun) Hulk & Warrior!!!

  • with all do respect to ecwaufisxtreme about his comment on Jeff Hardy...yes, jeff is one of wwe's young rising stars today...and yeah, he kicks major ass (esp. after watching No Mercy)...but you have to realise that THIS was the WWE before it is the WWE we are seeing right now. Hogan, Warrior, De Biase, Warlord...these guys were Gods of the square circle at this time...hell, i wish that SS was still like the old days...:)

  • cool superplex+ diving cross body from the top rope maneuver

  • that was the finishing move of power & glory

  • Best concept in Survivor Series HISTORY! Team concept and the winners match...best SS EVER!

  • Back in the Day.

  • Hogan gave Roma an Axe Bomber. (Sort off)

  • Hogan would sometimes get wins in WWE using the Ax-Bomber. I remember he won matches against David Schultz, Terry Funk, and Ric Flair in WWE with his Japan finisher.

  • Yes! I recall those matches, especially his matches with Terry Funk on Saturday Night Main Event in 86.

  • damn people are being pinned off of some tame moves!!!

  • Ultimate warrior and hulk hogan together were so awesome ;_;

  • That was a great duo. Two of the best in that era.

  • i still say that the undertaker got robbed in this event. after all he wasnt even the legal man and they counted him out. but when martel's team fought jake's team martel ran out of the arena while being chased by jake but they didnt count him out and he too wasnt the legal man in the ring the warlord was. so personally taker shouldve been in the final match. it shouldve been 3 against 6

  • Power and glory had the best finisher

  • Power and Glory had the best finisher ever

  • Ted Dibiase is a legend, always put on a good match. He wasn't an overblown 'roid freak either like so many are these days.

  • lol you think the ufc is fake like wrestiling?......lol

  • the good old days

  • Flying Burrito and its over for Warlord.

  • Roma was highly taleneted, right up there with bret when it came to technical excecution and intensity

  • big fart pin on hercules

  • Hogan hoggs the match. Trying to steal the limelight, he even does the count while warrior gets the pin, stealing the limelight of the winning pin

  • How so? I remember Terry Funk did something similar to that when 2 Cold Scorpio got the winning pin against the Quebecers (this was on Raw), when Funk jumped in and counted along for the pinfall. Would you accuse the Funker of stealing the limelight? I doubt any smark would have the stones to do that. Yet you accuse Hulk of it. Why are internet nerds so jealous of this man?

  • I couldn't agree with you more brother.

  • roma looks a bit like francesco totti n he olays for roma..lol

  • Slick got his ass beat! ha ha.

  • this isnt the first time warrior and hogan meet they mat at wrestle mania 6 for the title, yu'd know that if you watch this full survivor seris

  • Did WWE actually say that the surviving babyfaces would face the surviving heels in the final match? I'm trying to figure out how the WWE stated that the sides would be drawn in the final match without using a smark term. BTW, it's funny seeing DiBiase and Hercules on the same team.

  • Yeah I know, poor Hercules is playing fifth fiddle to Dibiase here, just like how Paul Orndorff did when he was on the Hulkster's team at the 1987 Survivor Series.

  • I hated that match, and I still do. They ripped through two top heels, the top heel tag team and the giant Warlord. Give me a break.

  • are you serious...the warrior and hogan are wrestling titans. Gods of the ring...these other guys were just good for their era. No contest

  • not to forget: warlord was pinned by tito santana and rick martel leaved the match on his own (after a very very nice big boot from hogan!).

  • The other guys aren't thought of at titans because Hogan and Warrior refused to put anyone over, even when it's 5-on-3.

  • wtf r u talking about? hardy hasn't done shit compared to hogan or warrior. hogan pioneered modern wrestling. ur jus a lame assed mark i guess - how old r u? 7?

  • The Warriors vs The Perfect Team, Tito's team vs Slaughter's team are both in the running for the worst matches in the history of the Survivor Series, narrowly losing out to THE WORST match... this one.

  • the crowd is kind of dead for this

  • the ultimate warrior and the immortal hulk hogan! what a combination!

  • No one makes a Survivor Series like this like they used to...

  • Best SS in history

i miss ultimate warrior so much T_T

    he was my idol

  • Wow the old heel vs face teams were simply awesome times

  • So much better when SS was like this!!!

  • Not really. If the SS were like this today, it would be the least important PPV on the calendar. They even have title matches at the non-big four events, so they have to have title matches at SS.

  • they had titlematches out of the big four PPVs before. e.g. in 1990 at SNME: warrior/haku, warrior/rude

SS today like that would be great!

  • I mean PPV's though, not TV programs like SNME. Survivor Series is considered to be a bigger PPV than, let's say, No Mercy. No Mercy has title matches, so Survivor Series has to have title matches. SS still has at least one traditional elimination tag every year, so it's okay.

  • The million dollar man was way ahead of his time in the ring

  • De pequeño era más creible..jeje..en primeras patadas del ultimo guerreo se puede apurar un poco más no??...deja como20 cm..xd

  • now then shag hows about puttin it in english not that shit.

  • Wow. Why Don't They Have The SS Like This Anymore?

  • Exactly. It was a classic event
