the whole reason of wearing hijab was to break free of all the consumerism of products and fashion ryt :/ correct me if iam wrong , but i see these days their turnin to HIJAB FASHION , still use makeup ... so whats the point :/ hijab makes them look more attractive to some :/

Its up to you whether you want to take it off when you're at home. You only wear hijab around strangers that is, everyone who is not your immediate family!

And hijab means a change of attitude, a change of lifestyle, a change of wardrobe. The headscarf is just the symbol of all those changes, Mashallah

Heyyyy sweetiepie! LOL yea you dont have to wear it infront of family thats father rothers sisters and other girls :) it doesnet compromise beauty bbut it mainly sends out a message-that you value your modesty. I'm thinking of wearing one soon God willing.

Now why didnt they have this video years ago I was in the process of converting and I could never get how to put on my scarf right. My soon to be husband mom had to do it for me and she did not like it. Maybe thats why we didnt get married she felt he should be with someone who already knew these things and did not have to be taught.... LOL

where do you get your caps?? do you order online.? because all of mine are either wide headband style which are so tight on my ears or silky material that doesnt help because whatever material i use weither pashmina or silk it slips off and being that my hair is very smooth i am always adjusting and taking out pins and redoing it.. it is very bothersome.. please help! also if you could send your answer to my mailbox vs. posting it here.. thanks!!

Shukran 4 the style! How do u prevent the scarf from choking u when u wrap it?? I always feel like it's tight around my chin/neck when I wrap mine.

Thanks hun! I knw wht you mean...I used to have the same problem..I used to feel like that its too tight...to prevent that feeling I try not to put the pin on so tight...I'd suggest to keep it a little loose around the neck area :) hope that helps!

Mine are usually the average size but it should work with the big ones too. The small ones might turn out a little different..havent tried it with the small yet ;)
