@girinathprthi SSD stands for Solid State Drive. conventional Hard drives are a physical disk, which can limit the read and write speed of data. SSD's are built with no moving parts, the data is stored on chips and circuitry, VASTLY reducing the read/write times. SSD's are very good boot drives and good for games which are hard drive intensive.

the downside to SSD's is they are more fragile and in the event of a failure, you are more likely to lose most, if not all of your data.

i have a question my pc acts weird when i turn the power on sometimes it will say welcome for ever like i let it go for a hole day so what i have to do is hold the power button till it turns off then i have to turn it back on and seclect restart before login then when i get the computer on it works fine or if it has been off for awhile on start up the icons dont load and if im running my flight sim and watch a youtube video it just shutdowns its a HP pavilion elite HPE with the AMD 6 core

@nikefreak01 For stock, that's alright. Intel doesn't make good heatsinks. I suggest you get an aftermarket heatsink because it'll increase the lifespan of your cpu and allow you to overclock if thats something your interested in.

Here is the safest way to overclock. First find out what the temperature your CPU or GPU is. Then buy some thermal paste. Would highly recommend Arctic Cooling MX-4 - Thermal paste. And then replace the thermal paste on your CPU or GPU. Then you will notice the temperature dropped. Then when you overclock keep on testing it out until the temperature is the same as it was before you replaced the thermal paste. Hope this helps.

Getting a second generation i7 2600k sandy bridge later today. You can only overclock the multiplyer on them and it is supposed to be simpler in nature, but a 5ghz overclock stable is achievable from the 3.4 stock. However there was a product recall in earlier motherboards due to a problem with the intel chipsets for Sandy bridge chips. Respected sellers will have sent them back, but I expect some sites will sell these out cheap.
