Then it returns to just one, again going through worlds in Castle Oblivion, then Maluxia battle, but then it flashes to Roxas' life starting at 2:15, starting with him being born, then he just jumps into a cloak and fights heartless... then gets calmer starting Roxas' simulated life.

I find that the last line of that statement, "one who knows nothing can understand nothing", to be the boldest and most thought-provocative; it delivers a shock of emotion to think of one that knows nothing and can therefore understand nothing (I suppose like the game's Heartless or a newborn human child).
@OceanBlueKirby, I have to admit, I used to do a self-proclaimed "perfect" dub/imitation of Ansem's voice when I originally played this game - I spent so much time on my "last" save replaying the final boss sequence just getting all of the lines right, and I spent a lot of time memorizing the opening song too, lol. Ansem was such a cool bad guy... I saw him as a "black Sephiroth with a demon behind him" that was impeccably awesome.
@OceanBlueKirby, it was the best way I could relate him when I was a kid - Sephiroth and him =/= long, flowing silvery/white hair and also the final boss of sorts. In retrospect, a very unique character, even if a slightly wasted one by the second (you know what I mean) game. I still remember him and that "You... insolent... SUBMIT!" grapple move that squashed my party every time - I used to get so mad but I persevered, the worst part was probably not being able to fight with Donald and Goofy.
I see. I don't quite remember that move you mentioned, however; I managed to defeat Ansem in the various final battles on my first try when I was beating the first game back in 2003 (if that's where he can attack with that attack).
actually, @OceanBlueKirby, while it is true that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, was incredibly intelligent (especially for a Heartless, whom the latter act upon instinct), he was power-hungry psychopath whose own obsession with power blinded his OWN ability to understand and ended up getting him killed by thinking that Kingdom Hearts, heart of all worlds, was pure darkness (as, through his own thesis, was the heart's true essence), but was actually light, which completely obliderated him on contact.

I'm not so sure about Kingdom Hearts II since I haven't played the game for so long, but I know that there is an End of the World level in Kingdom Hearts. There is a Dive Into the Heart - Desanti for both games, however.
Okay. The End of the World music, has a similar music composition to Dive Into the Heart - Destati (not "Dive Into the Heart - Desanti", like I've written in my previous comment), but has extra instruments incorporated into it.
I remember being in The End of the world in the World Terminus and almost crying because I did not know what I was doing or where I was going but to sum up the music, and the game, EPIC.

@Ven01273, first time I played when I was like... 8, maybe 7, I think I picked the sword or the shield, but boy did I regret not picking either. I'm fairly sure I picked the shield, cause I remember being kind of "disappointed" fighting with a shield in the first battle. But man, those first 15 minutes of Kingdom Hearts are minutes I will never get back and every second was worth it... this series basically reminds me of everything that was good about my childhood from a computer screen.

First of all, I want to apologize if I sound condescending, that is not my intention.
This is something that has been bugging me. I've gotta say, the KH games have a special place in my heart. Because of that, I have always wondered why so many people (at least, a LOT of pubescent kids) claim them to be among "the best games ever". I disagree, I just have them among my personal favs, but that doesn't mean they're perfect games.
It's just that the themes, music and feeling are very compelling, but they have flaws in other places. So I just wonder, how many of you who think highly of this game (unfortunately there are those who don't) have for example heard of Grim Fandango? How varied are you in your gaming? I'm asking this mostly because I personally know several people who love this series, but refuse to try admitted masterpieces, something I find saddening; there's this entire world of awesomeness discarded by them.
@sofielundsskolan - I've played, of big series I could name - This, Metal Gear Solid, God Of War, Final Fantasys 7-10 and 13 currently, Assassin's Creed, some Dead Space/Resident Evil, Mario Party series, Sonic series, NiGHTs, and Halo. Many other small=time games in between.
But the nostalgia of Kingdom Hearts, especially as I grow older, just never seems to die, because its like I'm synching with my younger self every time I hear these familiar melodies and place them from my own experience.

Damn I just love this song in KH2 when Roxas needed to choose a weapon. Its like hes deciding for Sora what he needs to continue for the journey.

@Ven01273, first time I played when I was like... 8, maybe 7, I think I picked the sword or the shield, but boy did I regret not picking either. I'm fairly sure I picked the shield, cause I remember being kind of "disappointed" fighting with a shield in the first battle. But man, those first 15 minutes of Kingdom Hearts are minutes I will never get back and every second was worth it... this series basically reminds me of everything that was good about my childhood from a computer screen.

First of all, I want to apologize if I sound condescending, that is not my intention.
This is something that has been bugging me. I've gotta say, the KH games have a special place in my heart. Because of that, I have always wondered why so many people (at least, a LOT of pubescent kids) claim them to be among "the best games ever". I disagree, I just have them among my personal favs, but that doesn't mean they're perfect games.

It's just that the themes, music and feeling are very compelling, but they have flaws in other places. So I just wonder, how many of you who think highly of this game (unfortunately there are those who don't) have for example heard of Grim Fandango? How varied are you in your gaming? I'm asking this mostly because I personally know several people who love this series, but refuse to try admitted masterpieces, something I find saddening; there's this entire world of awesomeness discarded by them.

@sofielundsskolan - I've played, of big series I could name - This, Metal Gear Solid, God Of War, Final Fantasys 7-10 and 13 currently, Assassin's Creed, some Dead Space/Resident Evil, Mario Party series, Sonic series, NiGHTs, and Halo. Many other small=time games in between.
But the nostalgia of Kingdom Hearts, especially as I grow older, just never seems to die, because its like I'm synching with my younger self every time I hear these familiar melodies and place them from my own experience.

@cantthinkofaname10289. I loved this game serious sooo much before ,but once i got the ds 1 i started loving it again. not as much as kh2 tho.. but i can honestly say these games were better in way than call of dury modern warfare 1 and 2.

I've been playing this game since like, I was in the fourth grade. I remember when my friend told me the name of it, and I thought it was a card game for whatever reason, but then I started playing it, and now I'm in 9th grade and I'm still obsessed. :3

i 'member watching my older brother play this game, and i'd get so confused. D: and all the heartless scared me haha but i still watched cuz it was awesome. i especially remember watching my older brother beat behemoth, and then, a couple years later, i watched my LITTLE brother beat the game, too. haha

It would make alot more sense if the final battle took place at the towers. Also if you look closely at the image sora has a crown. And sense rock got too overused they used soft chourus music like this for final battles nowdays. (Or not!)
