i dropped out of school i do not have a very good education and i want to work where he works becuase i cant get a job anywhere else and it doesnt look like you need to know much about anything to work here thumbs up
this guy is just trying to sell junk. i go to the swap meet every weekend and buy car audio name brands(alpine, punch, kenwood,jl,etc....)and don't pay around next to nothing and all works, oh i go threw systems and trade for thangs all day long on the car audio tip. whats so funny is the garbage that is made today with the 1000's of car audio products and knock off brands that people return to the late 80's and early 90's for real audio equipment.
some cars need a box, (not necessarily that box), to use the factory amp, if all you are replacing is the head unit. If you did a whole audio setup, you would not need it. But some factory amps are not compatible with different head units.
@DaveDuno this is for a after market sound sytem oem factory decks dont have rca out puts that what this is from steeling singnal from the speakers to tunr them in to rca
I'm was in you position to and I went bestbuy and no lie very good deals I got a 600 watt 12" sub with the amp and everything new car door speakers and another amp for them and a head unit for 750 and they were all top of the line
im getting lower end subs and maybe a couple speakers i dont know where to start i dont have my license yet but if somone can tell me if i need an amp or like what i need that would be great, help me out? thanks, and can i only hook up subs, and keep my old truck speakers? or would it wound bad? thanks
most amps have an input called Hi-level input..if you buy one brand new they usually come with the plug in that works just like an OEM intergration box
Actually very few amps support high level input such as what your factory deck puts out. Granted some factory decks do have rca outs but again these systems are few and far between.
through your..... DICK!

what happens to the remote turn on lead.. does this control the amps on/off switch too? or do all oem head units have a remote output anyway?
