Why do people get so out of line when a band decides to change lead singers? Unless the new singer really, TRULY sucks, I see no problem with it. Just look at bands like AC/DC, Boston, and Alice in Chains. They've all had vocalist changes and they sound awesome. Good lord, all you music fanboys do is whine and complain when a group decides to step in a direction you disagree with. Have an open mind for once.

They recruited Angela because she's a better frontman live, it had nothing to do with her skills as a singer. 

So musically speaking it was a bad move, because we are talking about the music... right?

True that dude (in relation to the description) I was a huge angela gossow fan and then I got back into Liiva era, and I think it's the better of the two because it was before Arch Enemy decided to be the next iron maiden (I have no problem with iron maiden, or new arch enemy, I just prefer the older stuff)

BTW I checked out some "How-to" vids and I think this fry scream thing was a lot easier. I also found out I've heard a ton of bands using it, although I didn't know it was called that.

i got into Arch Enemy with Angela and i liked it, but when i heard it with Johan i fuckin loved it. its like a lot more thrash-like and its good. Good shit, not an original fan, but id like to say im a true fan.

Everything is easy when you got the technique right. I can do brutal death gutturals almost as easy as regular speech, because I've learned how. If you don't know how, it's all just as difficult.
