I recently bought Dennis Locorriere's cd "Live in Liverpool" It's a wonderful listen.

After listening to it I have to disagree with an earlier post about him being bitter, and grudgingly playing Dr Hook songs. Most of the cd is Dr Hook materiel.

When I was 18 my mother sent me to hitch hike across Canada. I made it home 4 months later, I came home with a pocket full of cash from working on the praries, and in the Great Lakes. I live in the pacific mountains now and havent seen my mother in years. She'll be here next Friday. My mother has always been my best friend.

I know exactly what you mean. My mom passed in 92. Still miss her so very much. Doctor Hook was and still is my all time favorite group. If you're interested, I wrote a poem to her which is posted on this site under my username.
