They are helping you get water and oxygen. They are helping the animals keep their homes and maintaining biodiversity. They also highlight corrupt government practices. But mainly, they are providing publicity to the issue, so that it can be better debated. Also, one day in the future, in the regrettable circumstance that there are barely any trees left if governments have their way, they will definitely be seen as heroes, even though they failed against human short sightedness.

Most when looking into the rainforest see trees,they dont see past the tree or the forest floor.Take the machines away from the contractors and tell them to become bushmen as they were 30 years back and they shudder in their boots,they are too scared to walk through the bush.There is not one contractor today who can select a 1st grade log,the reason is they dont want to know its way out of their thought process
