I have always wondered about who played the stunt doubles in this movie... they are not listed n the normal credits, which only begs the question if they were the actual stunt doubles used for the movie. Furthermore, doesn't Princess Vespa's stunt double look like Richard Dean Anderson (AKA: MacGyver?)
@gnoyze Well, IMDB lists a number of credited and uncredited stunt doubles. It seems likely that they're the ACTUAL stunt doubles, since they're conveniently the right size and have actor-matched costumes and wigs that fit them, except for the fact that they tried to emphasize that they DIDN'T look anything like the original actors, but that was mostly dress-up, I mean, they gave Vespa a toothbrush mustache and a cigar. THAT was unnecessary.
@mkreps1 when i saw vespa's stunt double for the first time when i was really little, i thought he had a moving caterpillar on his nose. i remember thinking the same thing when i saw a picture of hitler years later. funny how things work out like that :D
GO FOR BROKE! At least we know the guys who played the original stormtroopers in Star Wars were able to get additional acting gigs cause by the lousy way those Spaceballs Guards shot their blasters that had to be the same people.
