You're right, no city or country in Europe comes even close to NY in the amount of crime being committed or cops being employed. And I'm very happy about that. I prefer a peaceful life with inherent security (not the type of artificial security NY has, forced by the authorities), collective trust and overall kindness.

You couldn't pick a fight on the streets of Amsterdam even if you wanted. Believe me, I've tried.

When it comes to constant fear and insecurity, NY wins. Well done!
