  • nanananananananaBATMAN!!

  • Yes!!! I love Te Deum. This is a fresh and vibrant rendition. Pure Baroque :D

  • na na na na na na Zvezda na na na na na na ZVEZDA SAMPION

  • Such a wonderful baroque piece... so sad that it has been raped by Eurovision >.<

  • On n'en fait plus de la belle musique comme ca 350 ans plus tard

  • It´s more the sound of the Eurovion anthem than a masterpiece from Charpentier.

  • Sounds like the trumpets of a American marching band teamed up with a 1940's Hollywood studio string section.

  • Now I understand why this version is so funny. Its just too much pompous.

  • it's magnifical

  • EUROVISION!!!

  • Love it! But why the fuck are we having 4 dislikes???????

  • @Aldameldo The 4 dislikes are probably the four 'historicaly accurate performance' lovers - because this recording is completely inaccurate, with romantic strings etc.. Some people are a bit too strict about these things ;)

  • this makes me laugh so hard... for some reason...

  • @KATIE8700000 It makes me laugh too...I don't even have a clue why.

  • @KATIE8700000 Hey. Me too! I don't really know why, the tune is great, but for some reason I laugh like a mad man. :)

  • This interpretation is too "romantic" and without any expression ! (:-

  • This is quite discussing in comparison with this "youtube.com/watch?v=wQQzihD-7cQ&feature=player_embedded"

  • This is awesome!

  • warning, we got 1 dislike!

  • i recognize this piece in the Jingle from the Dutch Classic FM

  • дуже соковита палітра звуків,енергійнійсть і вищість) чудово!

  • Touching!

  • If you like this, check out Handel's "Zadok the Priest".

  • Eurovision anthem lol !

  • @journalistgirl07 The 2010 one at least.

  • That's not how you play baroque music... Where's the life? Where are the syncopes? It should beat, jump, dance!!!

  • @agnosticnixie

You forget the melancholy. She accompany always the enjoyment in the baroque music. You have to find your personal relation. I like these version very much, because I realize caducity. But I like festive interpretations too.

  • @agnosticnixie exactly, where's the BC here? :s

  • @agnosticnixie It does. Just listen.

  • @agnosticnixie Well, as with every rendering of music by dead composers, it is a matter of interpretation. French baroque was in fact sterner than their Italian counterparts, for example. But some other modern interpretations with focus on more authentic use of instruments sometimes tend to use more percussion instruments.

  • @agnosticnixie And the drums!! Don't forget the drums at the beginning! They sure did!

  • @agnosticnixie I was wondering what i disliked at this version, but you have put it to words...also the Trumpet seems a wee bit too in.your-face.

  • i feel like royalty lol

  • Very Nice!

  • it's the song me and a very good friend* of mine always loved to her!!!

*) unfortunately died in june 2010....

  • great version! beautiful

  • Ze yurovizhen song kontest anthem!!!!
