  • Im a korean and it looks GROSS D:

  • No joke blacks, whites, asians can eat an octopus , raw fish, etc. why because they aren't scared or born with chicken heart.

  • I felt a same way when I first ate American pumpink pie LOL

  • FUCKING KOREANS!

  • We don't eat it for "strength and stamina".. It's good.

the fuck, what kind of hocus-pocus asian strereotypes are you white people trying to play on us?LOL

  • I respect the foods eaten in various cultures but this is one that stumps me. Why eat something that sucks itself to the inside of your mouth while you're trying to swallow it? Why? What is the pleasure in doing that? How does it taste? It seems to me you'd be eating it for reasons other than nourishment or flavor. Why not kill it?

  • This makes me want to try. I couldn't do it. I just feel way too bad. I want to save the octopus. ;A;

  • wait is deadly coz some1 chocked on it...

    carrots are deadly to me

  • @XDUberMageXD no but when you choke on them they get stuck in your throat and it has those suckers so you can't gett them out

(Sorry, english isn't my mother language)

  • Everyone who says its disgusting and torture what about you and cows and pigs and all those animals?

  • This is what I like to call, "Torture."

  • @webshow19 For the American, you big girl.

  • you see that big head, its not brain idiots its poison.

  • I want

  • GO TO 3:59

  • @hippestshit WHAT

  • arghhhh

  • That shyt is not cutr

  • this is horrible just horrible!

  • This is an absolute disgrace, man has obviously not evolved since the cave man times, there is no justification for caused a terrifying and painful death to a harmless creature. I hope these people all come back to earth and experience the same ordeal as Karma for their actions.

  • @hollyblue666 man has evolved, just the koreans didn't. Chinese people don't have hearts for animals, I've seen it a lot of times already, with diff animals

  • @machoburgers

not all chinese people don't have hearts for animals, its only some from certain parts of a country that doesn't care.

please don't steretype, as you can see, at the start we also see a blonde eating the octopus.

its not about the race, its about the individual.

  • oh of course. They don't eat it because it's delicious, they eat it because of superstitious bullshit.

  • i'd eat it if it were chopped up. I wouldn't wanna risk chocking on it;. Looks good tho lol

  • i prefer squid...

  • haha you can hear a dude gag in the background at :53

  • human tastes better

  • Horrible

  • That is disgusing.

    And cruel.

    and superstitious nonsense.

  • @DonEdwardVoiceovers thats how nature works, i guess. its how basically every single non herbivore (except us) eats their food.

  • @alapalolee And it's barbaric.

The more we evolve, we grow out of this kind of behavior.

As technology and civilization grows, this practice becomes more humane and ultimately obsolete.

  • @DonEdwardVoiceovers not sure ya know what "evolve" means. its how species change to better increase their chances of survival ie: increasing their chances of reproducing, eating and avoiding being eaten. sure we westerners can condemn this kind of thing as barbaric, but hey, how is the "civility" of feeding chickens to the point where they are too fat to move and therefore die of starvation any less cruel? plus, the planet earth would be in much better shape if not for civilization.

  • @alapalolee Well, you see... "Evolving" to civility is evolving to survive with ease and mater it to the point where we don't have to do all those horrible things to living things.

The more civilization evolves, the better it gets.

Crime goes down the more intelligent the population.

Superstitions about eating octopuses alive are silly and gross.

Not sure you understand where evolution is taking us.

  • makes me sick... i dont eat it if its dead

  • @yohvh i think u mean i dont eat it only if its dead

  • I eat octopus raw, but not alive... its pretty awesome if you love (love, not like) seafood.

  • It looks quite good to me ! But I'd consider killing it it first !

  • I just gagged! yuuuuuuck!

  • Yuuuuuuuuck fukin sick lol

  • Looks DELICIOUS!! I want to try it

  • i kinda wanna try this. i love kalamari

  • Интересно, а австралийского голубого осьминога живьем жрут?

  • милейшая тварь

  • ON 1000 Ways To Die, I saw a Japanese man swallow one whole. But then it lodged it's suckers in his throat so he died. So... that's MY excuse

  • i want to eat one octopus

  • wwe

  • fuck china!

  • is it real that kendo is the sport of koria? i thought it was japanese one...

  • I wish he had choked on it. Fucking retard Koreans.

  • That black man is a pussy.

Oh, no wonder you're here begging me for attention. You should of told me this at the start; now I know not to feed you because I don't feed the needy.

  • Comment removed

  • @IGuessIllCallUrBluff

No you aren't. It's impossible for females to be lesbians, that's just some stupid shit you say for attention. You don't understand human biology I see.

  • @FerrariSorry I'm not even going to try to argue that statement. You're ignorant.

  • @IGuessIllCallUrBluff

If I'm so ignorant why'd you delete your comment? Looks like you're back-tracking.

  • @FerrariSorry Because the majority of our conversation wasn't related to this video. I didn't think you were going to want to go back and reread all of my comments, but I can recap for you if you'd like.

  • @IGuessIllCallUrBluff

You quoted me. Once you stop replying; I will. You seem starved for attention, that's why I'm replying to you, I'm that nice.

  • thats not a fish -_-

  • i already vomited

  • Octopus,Squid,,They were invaders who had come to the earth in primitive times.

but they were eaten by the Asian, and banished to the sea.

  • No thank you, I'll have my Chinese take-out.

  • @Muriloxux eu tbm ja comi empanado e gostei

    but bro you a bitch

  • i love watching these

  • @Muriloxux ah fala serio nem deve ser tao ruim, mas deve ser nojento

  • thats awful :( If only half the people knew how amazing octopus are. what dedicated sea creatures they are. For instance they take care of their eggs and starve while doing so. they use their very last bit of energy to blow air onto their babies so their babies can live and they pass away. thats dedication. shame on you.

  • i puked....

  • deve ser bom isso

  • wtf japan?

  • For some reason i want to try this....

  • In some african tribes eating humans gives your their strength

do you want to eat humans?

  • 1:14-1:17. thats what she said!

  • @shockwave719 thats a he

  • OMG! Why???

  • id just go to the restaurant with a pail and get a pet octopus.

  • fuck korea

  • Dude was a PUSSY. They are not that hard to swallow.

  • Ive seen enough hentai to know where this is going...

  • stupid people with there axentric belivefs, we shouldn't be eating these fascinating creatures we should be studying them to learn more about there vast intelligence, some scienctist dispute that the octipus might even be as smart as humans but because it has such a short life span its young have to learn the world from scratch.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb No, no scientist believes they are as smart as humans. Well, maybe some humans. (BG)

  • @Christobanistan on the contary studies into these animals brains have showen that they are cabable of, cognative resoning, complex thaught, perseptive future vision and complex emotional reasoning, i truley belive that there nine brains are vastly simillar to our two. and before you say "what humans have only got one brain" the 8 brains scientist refer to are all nerve clusters and humans have a similar nerve cluster or 'brain' in our abdominal region.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Having future vision (not uncommon) and having human levels of future vision are very different things. I can imagine someone else imagining someone imagining someone else taking out the trash. I have several regions of my brain which evolved separately, each giving me an additional level of 'indirection,' evolved to help us in social situations to imagine what the other guy is thinking, to strategize. Future vision is simply imaging my "future self" doing something.

  • @Christobanistan yes but the depth of our inteligence are not disimilar to octipuses, look, its not my place to lecture you on this subject my field is in the caring of animals not there studies look for a documentory called "Aliens of the deep sea" it explains more indepth how humans and octipuses share a similar level of thaught.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Sorry, but the depth of our intelligence IS very dissimilar to octopuses. I've just demonstrated why, with a good example. I'm well educated on the subject and I don't need some superficial pop-documentary on Animal Planet to explain the issue to me, much less a lecture from someone who obviously knows nothing about it.

  • @Christobanistan classic case of ignorance, I KNOW EVERYTHING AND ANY DESCOVERIES HERE AFTER SHALL BE STRICKEN AS BULLSHIT SO THAT I MAY MAINTAIN MY FLAWLESS KNOWLAGE OF EVERYTHING. if you realy want to prove your willingness to stand your ground in your own belives thats fair enough but atleast try and challenge your own belifes from time to time you may grow from the experience. if nobody ever changed there minds by what is observed we would still belive that the sun revolves around the earth.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Coming from a guy who can't seem to spell anything right, I'm not threatened. Oh, and the all caps really sells it. More of that.

And BTW, these aren't 'beliefs,' they are thoroughly established neuroscience. While the octopus exhibits some rudimentary behaviors and memory skills common in mammals, their brains simply don't contain most of the structures and complexity that make the human mind so perfectly suited for survival in social groups measured in the thousands.

  • @Christobanistan now your critising my spelling, well im dyslexic so that doesn't mean one iota. there you see you said it "they are thoroughly established neuroscience" - your calling from old facts and disparaging any new revelations, not even gravity is "thoroughly established" its a theory the reason for that is that over the years what we often preseve to be undeniable fact turns out to be, not what we thaught it was at all so it became a rule of thumb that all new findings are theory.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb In science, 'old facts' don't get replaced by new ideas without rigorous proof and testing. I'm not sure what you're suggesting, that something you heard on Animal Planet is automatically true because it is the latest thing you've heard, or just incorrectly suggesting that I'm 'disparaging any new revelations' for disparaging your ridiculous notion that octopuses are smarter than humans.

Personally, I am willing to believe new stuff, but it's got to be based in science.

  • @Christobanistan science and fact evolves to quickley for man to write down so humans decided to say, ok all is only a theory untill proven incontevertable. the fact that you think an animals neurology can be sumed up in such a short period of time showes what an arrogant, ignorant and (as of naming my spelling and use of caps) petty person you really are.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb First of all, your use of the word 'theory' in a scientific context is simply wrong. A scientific theory isn't some second class citizen; the idea the earth revolves around the Sun is still just a theory. Being a theory is no derogatory term. However, the more a theory is tested and successfully used to predict a result, the more accepted as correct. But the burden of proof is on you making the assertion, and you have yet to provide proof that octopuses are smarter than us

  • @Christobanistan you know i dont even know why im arguing with you, your too stupid to understand the idea of progress or understanding and therefore your destined to become an artifact. goodluck in your future endevors........oh wait no your too obsessed with your self to even challenge your own conceptions.....well goodluck being a peice of stale bread in a world of rapidly rising doe. and if you didn't understand the metaphore, you probably wont even bother trying too.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Well said, dumbass.

  • @Christobanistan spoken like a true moron

  • @Christobanistan to extend my last reply...i never said octipusses where smarter than humans, after all were on the moon and they have only just conquered a twisty jar. i was simply stating that the make-up of the brains of humans and octipuses are similar enough to mean that potentialy (if they lived longer) octipuses could be as smart as us. and im not saying that just because animal planet said it im taking it at face value i was saying that the evidence found gives food for thaught.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb No, dumbass, if octopuses lived a thousand years they'd never "be as smart as us." Jeebus, I can't imagine the confusion of ideas that provoke such an assertion. Like I said, pop-science.

  • @Christobanistan to understand what im saying you need to first understand that "smart" is a wide-term it can refer to many things, i think we have a cross wire, alow me to clarify. i hold the belife that octipuses share similarly advanced equipment in there bodies to store information as humans meaning that if they lived as long as humans say 70-90 years at a stretch they might also have similar IQs as us. they are not as smart as us because they dont live long enough but that could change.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb You think this would happen based on what, exactly? To put it plainly, what makes you think an octopus of say, 5 years is capable of anywhere near the mental power of a human infant of that age?

There isn't even any evidence to suggest octopuses are interested in anything other than their next meal, and evading prey. Many primates exhibit higher intelligence and live a very long time. And yet not one has ever solved a crossword puzzle, or even spelled "banana."

  • @Christobanistan i love how you so quickley state old terms because it showes that you are old news. i have showen you a documentory as my evidencce for octipuses having a higher intelligence now it is your turn to prove that they do not with some solid evidence, rather than your skattered cliches. you seem to have forgotten the gorillah that learned sign language, she didn't need to spell banana she was smart enough to ask for one politley.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Please, dude. Learn to spell. Is "quickly" really so difficult?

Your assertion, to be exact, was that if octopuses lived to 70 years, they would be as intelligent as humans. That is laughable on its face. And when you make an assertion like that, it is UP TO YOU to prove it. And saying "go watch some Animal Planet 'documentary'" doesn't hack it, sorry.

For me, I'll stick to common sense and my own knowledge of how brains work take you for the fool you are.

  • @Areyourealythatdumb Oh, and regarding your "gorilla that learned sign language."

    1. Of course I didn't forget her, I just have perspective about it.

    2. Picking the smartest gorilla you can find and getting her to learn a few words (which typical human children do with no special effort and automatically by age 2) is nothing to brag about.

    3. Recognizing words is an extremely tiny part of human intelligence. Deeply abstract thinking, vast memory, and multiple levels of self abstraction, etc

  • @Christobanistan how dare you underate, the signing gorilla. she leaned a plethera of words many of which where beyond that of an average young child, did you not see the documentory where she was filmed being told here pet cat "all-ball" was hit by a car, she understood the meaning of death and made a distinction between life and death. to say she leaned a few words is to vastly undermind what actually happend and i think you should srsly revaluate your argument and use some proper facts.

  • if he dipped it in some sauce it would go down

  • @guntz12 ROFLMAO! A little thin skinned when it comes to your stupid gorilla, are you?

Do you really believe that a typical five year old human child, WITHOUT constant pedagogy by a professional from birth, could not absorb far more words than the very smartest gorilla could throughout his entire life? Psst, it's 5,000 words on average for humans!!

And if a relatively smart primate can't approach a child's intelligence over its entire lifetime, why do you think an even dumber octopus would?

  • @Christobanistan blah blah blah

  • @guntz12 No answer eh?

  • @Christobanistan dude i don't even know what you're saying?

  • I'm looking forward to eating moving octopus legs but not the head, haha!

  • EWW thats fucking disgusting

  • i want to try it

  • Comment removed

  • @3:15 --> "... Thats what she said !"

    ;---)

  • Ingirr'Ram.. Ingirr'Ram.. Ingirr'Ram.. Ingirr'Ram..

  • Thats just cruel

  • I'm disturbed.

  • At the rate Asians are having kids and killing everything in the oceans, we will be starving pretty soon on earth. They're sick!

  • @cboncklis I do believe we (from America) do kill more chickens than these people kill of octopuses. Basically it is the same concept, others could view the mass killing of chickens to be the same cruelty as you are viewing the live octopus eating.

  • @kaitou1912 Pretty sure chickens are killed quickly.

  • What the hell are they doing I feel like im going to vomit
