  • While the singers are fine singers... I personally feel tthat the way this is done... takes the "Africa" out of it. It sounds... to me more like a barbershop quartet which can be easily done if you are not from South Africa BUT I would like to encourage people people to start doing folk music authentically.

    It will be much more FUN!

    lesson 1- You would NEVER EVER just stand there

    Lesson 2- You more dynamics and energy in their voices. You would NEVER sing the same dynamic.

  • This is an inspiring and beautiful performance.  The way the sopranos "float" above the melody is perfect. Mr. van der Merwe you've created a wonderful piece and it has been well presented!
