  • Damn Kim Collins has had a long career. Dude is a champ. Amazing run by Mo especially with the injury!

  • As I said,Mr Busunglueck, this post was largely IMO (I have read scientific info that suggests Powell would have run 9.67-9.69 in Rieti and Bolt sub 9.6 in Beijing, however.I haven't just made it up).Having watched the Greene race it looks as though the injury didn't impair him as much as I thought. So 9.72-9.76?.I 've been a track fan for 30 years so these are are educated guesses, but I wouldn't stake my life on them.Certainly I'm not untruthful.Link to Greene/iaaf info?Sounds interesting...

  • Intrinsically best 100's ever (IMO, certainly not an exact science)

    5.)Greene 9.82 2001 (Headwind +injury: worth 9.69-9.74 ish in better circumstances)

4.)Powell 9.74 2007 (eases up in heat, still gets WR, scientist supposedly estimates worth 9.67-9.69-this looks about right)

    3.)Bolt 9.77 2008 (into strong headwind, -1.3; wind adjustment calculator says worth 9.69, I say a bit faster, 9.64 or 9.65)

    2.)Bolt 9.58 2009 ( 9.60? with nil wind)

    1.)Bolt 9.69 2008 (easing up,loose lace 9.55-9.58?)

  • @1976stoney all bullshit. greene had never gone 9.69. actually the iaaf said even if he had run that fast it wouldnt count because the wind was shiftig because of the circulation in the stadium. scientist said powell would have got a 9.72 in rieti not 9.67. looking at the split times tells you that. bolt performance in burssels was strong but not worth a sub 9.7. and the splits of beijing tell us that bolt propably had run 9.6x but no way faster than in berlin

  • Tim Montgomery's on the good Balco juice here.

  • Without the injury, we're looking at a 9.75 here. A fantastic time now, but seemingly beyong the realms of possibility back in 2001.

  • what impresses me the most is that this race has headwind!

Besides Gay, Powell and Bolt.. Who can run 9.82 into a headwind?

Greene was awsome in his era!

  • @andreborges13 bolt and powell have run under 9.8 into headwinds

  • @MrBusunglueck Only Bolt & Tyson have run sub9.8 into headwind (Bolt 9.77 into -1.3 in Brussells in 2008, Asafa was 2nd in that race in 9.83) (Bolt 9.79 into -0.2 in Paris in 2009) (Tyson 9.78 into -0.4 last year in Crystal Palace in London

  • @bossofalltime powell 9.78 in rieti 2007 final. was 0.0 but was a headwind because it was -0.02 or something

  • @MrBusunglueck Really? Ok man

  • Perfect Star + Perfect Top Speed = Mo Green

  • @Sdelosinfiernos plus perfect doping

  • @MrBusunglueck jajajajajajajajajaj!

  • @Sdelosinfiernos yea sad! but true :(

  • moe's first 60m were pure perfection!!

  • that was a 9.75 race.........too bad with the injury

  • Greene's first 60 was perfect.. shame his knee played up at 75m

  • the injury ruined a 9.72-75 for mo!! damn injury..and just imagine a nice but legal tailwind ...a high 9.6 for sure

  • @puljacina Agreed.

  • @puljacina well the injury.... it made him lose maybe 2 cm so .02 of a second. and remember that it is very likely he was on drugs after what came out in 08

  • ayo bruh can i have a download of this video. i realy need it 4 my video editing.
