While being a stern feminist myself, I won't be happy with things as long as it's always an ideological question how people identified, as if identifying as male would somehow harm feminist causes. Instead why not see free expression of women *and* trans people as one cause? Artists- you don't know how these people felt about their gender, please work that into the text the next time you do such a project, ok?
interesting suggestion... do you seriously believe that people who don't agree with one aspect of a project should leave? last time I checked into feminism it was a democratic thing.
While I highly appreciate books like that, and comics!! and love the style, I feel somewhat alienated by the fact that you don't even seem to consider that some of these people identified as male and didn't feel that they were making a sacrifice of their "true" sex/gender (I'm referring to the author's comment here).
Can you upload more of these?? You should definitely upload some more videos if you can because these are the kinds of videos that keep me sane during a 5 hour lecture in class.
