@karezza6 karezza6 - boring, unintelligent, vile, racist scum. One difference between you and Rich Hall is that no one will ever give a shit about you while he's a genuinely funny entertainer.
Growing up in the 1980's I was terrified of The British, thanks to Terry Gilliam films. I was young and naive. I used to believe that England was some Surreal "Monty Pythonesque" land where everyone was living in an acid trip. lol
That fear as a child has grown into an obsession with the British Culture. I've never been to The U.K. unfortunately, but would love it more then anything now.
You'd be surprised at the poverty figures nowadays, so I'm going to conclude that actually isn't crazy talk.
As for the Native Americans, it's not a fear OF them it's a fear that they're trying to take their country back. And that mostly rests in some stereotype of them owning a shit ton of the casinos or something like that. It's still a trait Americans have, that's the point. Not a lot, but a decent portion.
It's a shame we didn't do like New Zealand and incorporate the natives.
I mean, sure, it'd be rare to find a person who had ALL of those traits for certain but he's pretty much right about us. Those traits can be found in decent-sized portions of Americans.
As for the weather, it's pretty damn bad. An entire state has constant earthquakes, we have "Tornado Season" and "Hurricane Season", a lot of states have/can have drought conditions, and our Blizzards can suck nuts since we don't have snow constantly like northern Russia or Canada.
@Wonocva15 American food portions are ridiculous, plenty of us are overly patriotic and self-important and the weather is crazy, but the US is a huge country. As for most Americans living in poverty and fearing the Indians, that's just crazy talk. Honestly - Indians?
I went to America once. Everyone is fat and eats gigantic portions of food. Everyone owns at gun and they shoot anything that moves. They wear clothes that don't fit and hate the Mexicans. They want to nuke everyone and think they are special. Most Americans live in poverty and have bad teeth. They get drunk easily and fear that the Native Americans are going to take their country back. They are plagued by tornadoes, hurricanes extreme weather. I am never going back.
When I used to have a customer that shouted and was generally a complete bastard, I'd smile and say "Have A Nice Day" to them as they snap and finally storm off. It's beautiful.
This is quite 'real' movie, partly based on people's lifes, if you know what I mean. I thought it would be fake and totaly distaster, but it wasn't. It's funny movie with love and action. You can walk away from many others movies, but you won't from this one, there is no doubt. See it on 'daving info'!!!
Londons nice to visit but living there is tough, thats what I found but I guess everyone is different and if thats what you want best wishes to you but remember the grass is always greener...
This film was great better than any film. But this film was actually great pretty intense. Funny. gosh they put a lot of humor in this one. I saw it on fillmsi.co.cc last evening.
I saw this show live in Portsmouth, and got a lot of abuse from Otis! As Otis, he sings an improvised song about someone in the front row and their career. It was going to be me, but at the time I didn't have a job. I was just a music student. As it so happens, I had performed on that very stage a few days before. I mentioned that and got back a long angry tirade, which I can sum up with "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THAT MAKES ME FEEL?!". Great fun!
It's so annoying to get asked how one is feeling. As if anyone would actually expect to get an honest answer, or as if one would actually like to tell it to everyone. But all one can do is look at each other and smile in mutual knowledge about the stupidity of the situation.
@yuame Jolly good fun! And I'd love to spend some time as a care-free chimney sweep. Chim chim cheree! What's a little scrotal cancer when you're bounding from roof top to roof top, singing and dancing? Yes, I really think England is the way it's shown in Disney movies from the sixties :)
@Quintopex Haha, quite right. But I think Londumb is a lot different to other cities in England as it is losing its value every day these days. ...Oops, did I say Londumb.?
Really? But London has so much cool historical stuff: the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, Hogwarts... Where else can I go to be so immersed in culture? By the way, is my ignorant mixing of fantasy with British culture amusing, annoying, or both? I'm actually trying to go for charming and funny.
@Quintopex Ach, forget about Big Ben and Westminster abbey. We had the most historical venues and they're being knocked down every year. Astoria had its great moments many times and it has been demolished because of that Crossrail shite which will not be completed until 2015 so we have to deal with that shitey+disgusting construction site blocking the main road in London. Only commoners suffer, not Royals+Riches. Typical.
@Quintopex How about Camden Town.? It's all gone now + The Stables Market has been transformed into a rather Gay place with huge hammering+bending blacksmith statues and hundreds of horses. Camden Lock market's gone to ashes by huge fire set by the market owner in 2008(saw it with ma own eyes). As he wanted to modernise it, the whole market has lost its character+customers as well. Soho.? Cleared out+gone. Portobello market.? Rather a fad.
@Quintopex You'll see a LOT of boring skyscrapers+glass buildings in the city, and a few historic places. They don't ever knock down St. Paul, Big Ben, Westminster abbey only because it brings money. If you really want to feel the history, go to Edinburgh which is MUCH better. Glasgow is a good place too. London.? Even Britons don't think it belongs to England. I bet next year's Olympics will bring a big chaos+reveal how fukkn poor the city is.
@Quintopex Lastly I would add that you're not ignorant. It's something people tend to forget that the money is not the answer. London might look charming + kool, however it's rotten inside and will fall apart very soon I am sure. As long as we have that Boris kunt, things will go only worse.
It kinda came together though because if you think about it the main character didn't have anything left for her to return 2 after being sent to the asylum... Not ruining the movie!! All in all good movie, def will see it on filmsi.co.cc again.

I agree that the standouts are the dialogue and performances. However, I have to agree that it has been far too hyped. But all in all good movie to see on moovi.co.cc. Enjoy! The acting was well done.
I saw it too Tolstoy. He's brilliant. I've seen him on other shows, talk shows and stuff about the deep South (of America). He's always witty but often quiet. You know he's going to knock you flying, soon, but you're never quite ready for it! It's a fascinating comedy.
It's th best film I've seen in a long time and I go to the kookíca around twice a week! The love story was great and as a souless rom com hater I reveled in their passion and desire to be together despite all the costs.
I had been looking forward to seeing this movie for weeks. I thought the score really set the mood in the beginning, the actors were magnificent and the tricks were mind-boggling. You can enjoy it at kookíca if you like it.
What a delight in our time to see such a marvel. A perfect story, touching and exploring every profound topic worthy of pondering and dealing with: True Love,-Life and Death,- Good and Evil,-Time and Eternity. See it on kookíca! Wow!!!
Man this movie is awesome saw it and think it's WONDERFUL ...GO SEE IT this movie is an exceptionally well made film... saw it on kookíca and loved it for the first minute...i will see it again...
We all started flipping out over the concept of this movie, and generally wondered whether or not the human mind can handle multiple lifetimes worth of experience without suffering from abject insanity. It is available at kookíca by the way so come and catch it.
However one of the best movie i've ever seen on kookíca. This director is a great guy. Great movie and great end! Dont wait, just see it right now... otally surprised me...Sooo simpel OF COURSE....Briliant!!! And here I was thinking science like the others hahaha...
I just finisihed watching this movie at kookíca. It's by far the best thing i've ever seen, and i don't even know what to think right now.. it's the first movie that's made me reeallly interested in it.
this movie that I saw on kookíca has it all : sparkling dialogue, thorny situations, soulful performances, and an unusually open-ended and relevant engagement
@666jimmysmusicgirl I'm Scottish just for the record - What RSVPBlogger was trying to say was that Scotland's towns and cities aren't as spread out as you might believe. It's not like there's dirt tracks leading from place to place. "Remote" would imply a sense of being cut off or far away and that simply isn't the case - if you couldn't see the border between Scotland and England you almost couldn't tell the difference.
The fact that a movie like this can be made in our modern times is a testament that there are still producers out there who believe in the magic (pun free of charge) that is this movie. See it on kookicá and enjoy!
'its very remote' what does that even mean. Have you been to glasgow or edinburgh etc? its just like anywhere else and i was just stating a fact.. what you said sounded slightly racist, i wasnt moaning at you or having a go
This movie is brilliant. It is one of the bleakest films I have ever seen on kookíca. I only hope that more films and art like this can have a positive impact on some of the issues that this movie brings into focus
@litatyas scotland is very remote and is mostly underpopulated, much like leeds, london however is completly different. it was a similie and wasn't ment to me taken litterally and i happen to like scotland better than england...
@666jimmysmusicgirl - um, according to the UN World Report, Scotland has a population density of 170/sq mile (66/km2). That means it has more than double the population density of the United States, Mexico, or South Africa, and is more densely populated than China, Ireland, France, Denmark or Portugal. That's not exactly "remote" or underpopulated.
@RSVPBlogger yh, i think you should go to scotland before you even put any statistics in your comment, you are probebly right about glasgow and edimburough but seriously... scotland might have a huge population but that doen't mean every sqare fucking mile is populated at all. Like in north Yorkshire there is miles and miles of land that is completly deserted. Hence all the ghost stories. Btw, a comment like that is a throw away joke and shouldn't be taken too literaly or youll look like a fool.
@666jimmysmusicgirl - I've spent many months in Scotland, mostly in the west (Oban, Lochgilphead, Skye). Scotland is quite well-populated throughout - you can never go more than 20 miles before coming to another substantial settlement, and there is almost no wilderness - it's all grazing land or forest plantations. No it isn't as jam-packed as southern England, but it is far from "remote". Seriously - go to Canada or Australia to learn what 'remote' means.
@RSVPBlogger JESUS H CHRIST! It was a fucking meaningless joke that you clearly took too far, i've been to the sahara god damn it!! I wish people on this website would stop judging people they don't know¬!
The movie is awesome. The acting was superb- the cast really seemed to be into their characters. Plus the effects were great. I like the way this movie stayed close to the book with only minor modifications.. Even the ending was appropriate. See it on kòòkica now.
I don't even know where to start, this movie was so well made from so many different angles. Usually, going to the kòòkica is such a passive process—you sit back and are mildly entertained—but this movie is so NOT like that, it is really great!!!
I am 65. This is in the top five best ever ever movies I have seen. I totally agree it is a masterpeice. I just cant believe the people who dont like it. It is available at kòòkica. This is not a beautiful film it is thrilling awesome exotic witty addictive mindfood. I will be going again. I am telling you it is a MUSTSEE.
It is on kòòkica, for free! After watching this movie, I really needed some time for myself. I must confess it reminded me to some moments in my life, moments I didn't think about for so long...but are very important. I wasn't disappointed with this movie at all, it actually give me some motivation. I recommend it!
This movie needs to enter my brain through my eyeballs as soon as possible. I saw it on kòòkica. There's not better resume of movies over the last 10 years period.
And the whole scene with the van going off the bridge... amazing editing. All the acting is great. You can see it to kòòkica. The score is moving and fits perfectly. One of the best films of all time. Without a doubt.
Good movie. It has a good twist in it that will keep you interested the whole time. This characters played their part beautifully as usual. Also, I need to say that plot is good, the cast is great and the ending is one that will stick in your head. So, recommende movie without any fault. Watch it for free at kookicá and enjoy!
This is very original film that I would properly never forget. It has eadhesive quality in every scene, every part. Its plot leave the audience enjoyable time and so unexpectedly loving characters. It is well recommend movie to all. You can find it on kookicá.
Well done job!! Amazing look of the scenes, great costumes, music and storytelling. I founded it very inspiring and helpful to some decisions.. It is just a movie, but it is based on the real life. It will always be great choice to have some nice time... Grab this out on kookicá.
Some places are there for fun, some are for love, some are for thinking..and some are for all that. This story shows differences betwen places, people, thoughts..but also a great combination of all of it band together. Do not miss this. It is for you at kookicá, any time you wish!!
Brilliant! Original! Comic, interesting, full of effects! It was a pleasure to see this! None of the films I have recently seen has this energy! Go for this on kookicá
This is a great movie, the sets are brilliant and you can tell all the actors are really giving it their all - even the extras give good performances. I enjoyed watching this all time long...and I was sad when it ends.. Incredbile experience. Watch it on kookicá.
@empress59 Is he dead? when why and how? (I`m saving on the question marks.I`m collecting them for a real nasty letter!) And finally who is Bill Hicks?
We were just south of the Thames for most of the trip (architectural visit). I heard if I went just a wee bit north into Hackney, I'd hear some colorful language if I managed to not get myself knifed on a side-street.
Excellent! Love Rich Hall. Fantastic comedian. Thanks for the post

As for the weather, it's pretty damn bad. An entire state has constant earthquakes, we have "Tornado Season" and "Hurricane Season", a lot of states have/can have drought conditions, and our Blizzards can suck nuts since we don't have snow constantly like northern Russia or Canada.

We all started flipping out over the concept of this movie, and generally wondered whether or not the human mind can handle multiple lifetimes worth of experience without suffering from abject insanity. It is available at kookíca by the way so come and catch it.

The point he was making was that the people that really loved the movie loved it for the plot not the action. I really liked it. I saw it at kookíca.

Thats why he does well over here lol.

this movie that I saw on kookíca has it all : sparkling dialogue, thorny situations, soulful performances, and an unusually open-ended and relevant engagement

London is alot different from Leeds my friend, Leeds might as well be Scotland compared to London!

litatyas 1 year ago
@666jimmysmusicgirl your saying that like englands better than scotland
litatyas 1 year ago
@litatyas scotland is very remote and is mostly underpopulated, much like leeds, london however is completly different. it was a similie and wasn't ment to me taken litterally and i happen to like scotland better than england...
666jimmysmusicgirl 1 year ago
@666jimmysmusicgirl - um, according to the UN World Report, Scotland has a population density of 170/sq mile (66/km2). That means it has more than double the population density of the United States, Mexico, or South Africa, and is more densely populated than China, Ireland, France, Denmark or Portugal. That's not exactly "remote" or underpopulated.
RSVPBlogger 1 year ago
@666jimmysmusicgirl - sorry, a correction, I misread the France figure - it shouldn't be in the list I gave earlier.
RSVPBlogger 1 year ago
@RSVPBlogger yh, i think you should go to scotland before you even put any statistics in your comment, you are probebly right about glasgow and edimburough but seriously... scotland might have a huge population but that doen't mean every sqare fucking mile is populated at all. Like in north Yorkshire there is miles and miles of land that is completly deserted. Hence all the ghost stories. Btw, a comment like that is a throw away joke and shouldn't be taken too literaly or youll look like a fool.
666jimmysmusicgirl 1 year ago
@666jimmysmusicgirl - I've spent many months in Scotland, mostly in the west (Oban, Lochgilphead, Skye). Scotland is quite well-populated throughout - you can never go more than 20 miles before coming to another substantial settlement, and there is almost no wilderness - it's all grazing land or forest plantations. No it isn't as jam-packed as southern England, but it is far from "remote". Seriously - go to Canada or Australia to learn what 'remote' means.
