  • There is a scene where she stabs him, but I think that was because

he behaved untowards her, a veritable ruffian, and not at all as a

gentleman concerned for her Victorian virtue... True Love does not

hurt. True Love does not shed blood. And so, in a sense, she

saved him from "going too far".

  • Maybe the house represents the psyche of a couple, a single couple.

There are 3 couples, but each may represent a different aspect of

their relationship... Two are trusting and caring towards each other.

Another couple are aloof, distant, apart. And the third is paranoid:

"He's crazy"... "She's trying to kill me"... This movie looks like it

was inspired by the writings of Carl Jung.

  • this movie is awesome, and its on yt^^

  • this isn`t the original the original is in black and white and it`s much better

  • this film ruined my childhood

  • I remember watching thus when I was 9 and fuck that was stupid haha couldn't sleep for a week

  • this isn't even scary!

  • I saw this movie when I was 12 yrs old. Couldn't sleep until 9 am when everyone in the house finally woke up... This movie still scares me to this day!

  • @BowieLovinJew it does? u mean like, shud I let my siblings watch this? I'm 12, this is my first time watching it. Its still downloading. Is it a "not for kids" movie?

  • im a horror fan, and this one is maybe one of the scaryest horror movies i've seen.

  • 1:33 michael jackson back from the dead....AAAAGGGGHHHH

  • @BlueMoonHearts Now way the black guy survives ;D

  • @BustedBitchXD3 In the original script Eddie did die and Sarah and Watson were the two that got out alive, and it ended showing them being rescued and Watson telling the reporters it will never stop, and it's broadcast on a new episode of the show Peter Graves was hosting in the beginning, except in the original script it was Christopher Lee. Amazing how much can change, wonder if it would've been better though?

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Indeed :)

  • Is this minecraft??

  • @BlueMoonHearts Old comment, I know, but I love the chance to mention that this time he doesn't die.

But anyway, I love this movie. The actors are great, the effects are great, they adhere almost perfectly to the original story, while still putting their own modern twist on it. It's a great remake.

  • Love this film, saw this when I was in my teens.. Good 90s horror!

  • it reminds me a bit of thirteen ghost's tbh i haven't seen this film fully but it looks awesome !

  • 1 million??? tats it??

  • The two scariest movies I ever seen this one and thirteen ghosts before insidious came out

  • @BlueMoonHearts the black guy didn't die in this fiilm...spoiler!

that film was awesome...but not as good as the orignal.

  • Can anyone upload the deleted scenes?

  • Gotta be the worth ending ever though..

  • When i was a kid, i was very scared of this movie. And now that i'm older, i've spent 5 years just to remember the title of this movie. :)

  • @wgbaseball2 but the face and arm of the painting was not in the movie... just the face of the stained glass had moving eyes

  • @wasabidesignband that's what I meant, just messed up on saying it.....my bad

  • the video tape bit where there operating and they all look up at her creeps me out

  • i think the movie would be better because we were anxious to see a brutal death to the guy with the moustache the he just turns grey, and scarier ''big boss''

  • lol this was cliché terror at his best!woo i loved the black man , with his brother character and then when he was about to get attacked at the end he just said he was adopted, because none of the five were black ahaha

  • I love Geoffrey Rush, but he's no Vincent Price.

  • the nigger in this movie dont die (:

  • @MrDoriangreyyy

  • @MegaJacob3 the only problem is that it's an abandoned asylum meaning it has no eletricity plus all the doors were blocked with a barricade so theres no way out

  • @MegaJacob3 ....watch the security camera scene

  • this movie was ok.. but could have been so much better by changing some stuff just a tiny bit.. like the ending which was so sucky and cheesy.. dracula 3000 pretty much had the same ending and for those who have not seen that movie.. be happy.. but anyway.. looking away from all stereotypical personalities (facepalmed on the black guy.. made a move on the blondy,short-tempered for no real reason and was the first to pick up a gun.. ) it was infact a pretty good scare.. 6/10

  • Best movie ever!!! Price rocks!!! :D

  • hahaha!!!! crazy! same story with me!

after i watched this movie i could sleep for like a month

  • OK it wasn't masterpiece but still decent Horror/Thriller. I guess Famke Janssen was the main trophy here. She was stunning.

Ali Larter, Geoffrey Rush, Taye Diggs, Peter Gallagher, Chris Cattan, Bridget Wilson did a great job too. I really love Bridget. Too bad she was killed the first. Her character was interesting and deserved more screen time
